  • Vicki,

Have you had any luck with the mortgage broker?

My IVA + defaults drop off at the end of this month (hopefully) and am hoping to move house that's all.

    Thanks in advance.

Hi billy. I have passed the first leg. We are wanting to buy a new build so we need to wait until the plot is released before we complete the forms. The broker has collected all our details to ensure that we can afford a mortgage (which is the part we have passed) but we can't proceed until the builder releases the house for sale. They have said they will run the credit searches then. They have said that as my iva is no longer on my credit files I should be ok to get a mortgage so fingers crossed they are right! It's a nerve racking time.
  • Vicki,

I'm glad it all seems to be coming together. Could you let me know how you get on please?

I only ask as my IVA/defaults should drop off tomorrow and we have actually sold our house. Don't need a mortgage urgently as we are renting a friends house until we find something we like but any news would be appreciated.

    Ta.
