Doesn't I'm afraid. They are using the same systems but absolutely no information is shared.0

Halifax and BOS now use a program called Your Finances to create applications. (Ts & Cs are accepted, sort code & account number is made).
The identification check / credit check (same program for all applications cards, banks accounts, savings accounts, loans). Your Finances will ping to get the relevant details if passed a reference number will appear and thats that, it automatically copies this to PBS. If it fails it comes up with Fail ID&V. The next screen is then for branch staff to fill in details of ID they have seen. At the moment if for example youve showed ID with Lloyds and thats loaded onto Lloyds PBS. If you then apply for a Halifax product and you Fail ID&V you would need to go into a Halifax branch and do the same thing, it isnt interchangeable at the moment..
A seperate form called DES (Data Entry System) is then completed with the new s/c & a/n plus any intial funds transfer and setting up of s/o initially happens here. Its then sent and saved. (Branch staff do not use DES.)Can I find out my credit score? You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)0 -

No in a word.
In theory a staff member working for say Lloyds TSB could load up the Halifax equivalent and see your details but this isnt aloud.
If you called Lloyds TSB phonebank they would only see Lloyds TSB accounts and the same for Halifax & BOS.Can I find out my credit score? You do not have a single credit score or rating. Their back offices are actually separate - lloyds is in one area for direct accounts and BoS is in Leeds - however I've had some letters from BoS from both Leeds and the lloyds direct centre!
As previously stated they are treated as two separate entities at the moment much like halifax and BoS were in the early post merger days but I presume that eventually they will amalgamate, for cost saving measures if not anything elseAny input I provide is purely my own interpretation and is in no way 100% accurate, I will try to help as best I can in all cases.

I thought they had already merged, considering a payment from Halifax to Lloyds and vice versa is treated as TFR rather than FPO/FPI ?0 -

Yes I don't get that bit either, but I was told they are on two different partitions so one bank could not see the data of the other and vice versa.0 -

Nope.
As an example it wouldnt see the ID from Halifax and generate a acceptance for a Lloyds product based on that ID from Halifax because it is invisible to Lloyds. Can I find out my credit score? You do not have a single credit score or rating. Hello
Does anyone happen to know if you have a account with Halifax or bank of Scotland whether or not if you apply at Lloyds whether they treat you as a whole new customer.
I can login to either Halifax or bos and apply for new accounts in 2 steps but I fancy a Lloyds one however would rather avoid a search if I can easily add another account through online banking. Can I use my bos login to Lloyds and apply similarly to my bos apply in a couple of steps.
I heard you can't login to Lloyds with an old bos login. True?
Thanks.
As I have accounts with all three, I can tell you that they don't treat you as a whole new customer. As I had signed up with lloyds first, I only had to provide my bank card and photographic id to open up a new account with Halifax as the data all goes back to the same place. Same for C&G ^_^
The online banking system is...not really that different. You can't access your BoS account through lloyds, but then, you can't walk into Halifax and say...I want to draw money out of my lloyds account. They'll laugh at you. However they won't need to run a second credit search if lloyds has already done one as it is already on file for them. Depends if you're asking for exactly the same thing or not. At least that's what they told me >_>Be Warned: Any decision made by ATOS should be treated with the contempt and suspicion in rightly deserves. If in any doubt, make sure to appeal any and all decisions by ATOS. Do not take their word for it, do not give them an inch of trust.
When judging if ATOS were fit for work, it looks like they self-assessed. //Rant-Disclaimer End.0
