Basic Freeview hdd recorder

I'm looking to purchase a freeview HDD recorder but am not sure where to start.
Is anybody aware of any comparison guides?
I'm not looking for anything fancy. Something that can record one channel while I watch another, that's quiet and costs next to nothing
. The quiet bit is probably the trickiest. I have difficulty zoning out the noise from loud fans.

Humax 9150T (cheapest) or 9300T (more money but bigger hard drive).
Neither cost next to nothing-but you won't regret paying a bit more for the best PVR on the market.
Cheapest as refurbs from Humax Direct, or at Richer Sounds. No free lunch, and no free laptop

There is a Toshiba at Argos for £1390

I'd still prefer these:

i have a 9150 and had it for nearly 2 years
very nice piece of kit, the absolute best is a topfield but they are loads more expensive, buy an ultra cheap one at your peril
i bought a freeview box in 2005, every time one broke i took it back, got a refund and bought another one in a different store, the same £40 kept me in freeview boxes till i bought the humax in 2010Who remembers when X Factor was just Roman suncream?0 -
Asda Wembley has 4 or 5 Humax 9150T machines on the shelf today listed at 126 pounds, when I got mine to the till it came up 99 pounds. Couldnlt find one at a decent price anywhere else.0
