It's more expensive but their samples look bigger and more like things I'd use but I'm not sure if the £10 is worth it? Does anyone else here use it?
I think it was itzybitzy who said she subscribed to this one. I'm trying the Amarya one from next month, a lot of people on here have that oe and it sounds good. Plus on their website it says you get one full sized item each month. There are some videos on utube showing pervious boxes.0 -
Hi Ladies,
In trying to distract myself from other matters, I'm doing the unthinkable.
I'm listing my stash  Toiletries first (if I can find all the ones I've hidden)
I'm also staying away from Beauty Boxes, until my birthday month (August) anyway. If I waver, please give me a severe talking to (Sarah*A I'm leaving that to you as you did such a good job earlier)

Sounds good.
I was looking at Carmine because the product samples look bigger than in LIB and the Carmine website says that you get between £25-£50 worth of products.
Although, I'm going to feel horribly guilty if I sign-up to it because this is a No Buying Toiletries thread!2019 Wins

Rosemary - I'm glad I wasn't just being odd about the Bare Minerals sample!
Anni - I subscribe to Carmine & have found it very good so far. It's more biased towards make up than the other beauty boxes. You can see all the boxes so far on their website which will give you a good idea of the kind of thing that they sendI'm also signed up to Jolie Box and although they're always late I've always liked what they send. They're more skincare biased though and some people think they send too many anti-ageing creams/are too 'old'. I wouldn't bother with GlossyBox though - they're so hit and miss and they send all the best stuff to beauty bloggers!
Having said all that, I was thinking that it might be best not to write up what I get in my beauty boxes so that I don't tempt other people into subscribing? I would still record things as I use them up & do a little review but I think that the beauty boxes are a bit dangerous  (I'm not reading to unsub yet - it's my safety blanket! :rotfl:)0 -
Sawan - best of luck listing your stash. I've just added yet more stuff to my list. It's horrifying! :eek:0

I tried listing mine a couple of weeks ago, but made the mistake of starting with my handbag, when i realized how much i was carrying around with me everyday, i was so annoyed with myself i couldn't face listing the rest, but i have been keeping a record of all ins and outs this month. To be honest I know what's under the bed and in my makeupbags but dread to think what I'll find in other handbags.
Plus i think there is still a bag of stuff somewhere from when we had the bathroom done last year.0 -
Hi Everyone
I am feeling rather guilty as I had some totally unnecessary INs today. So much for buying nothing in February.
I bought some Sanctuary 4 in 1 restoring body elixir and Sanctuary foaming bath soak in Boots. This then entitled me to the free gift set of body butter, foot butter, body scrub and bath float. Make room for me on the naughty stepI am going to try really hard in March.

You lot saved me
I think on the clothing thread they called it an NPI (near purchase incident) I had a nice email through from EVIL TEMPTING WEBSITE OF TEMPTINGNESS about having a free elemis kit if you bought two products... but between looking for two full size thingies to buy I flicked to this website and thought NOOO, I have ENOUGH I have piles of Elemis unopened!
SO I can be good sometimes0 -
Well done for avoiding temptation Adela!
I don't go for the beauty boxes because I'm rubbish with applying make-up (well remembering to put it on!) and think the toiletries stash is bad enough, I wouldn't want to add make-up to the mix too.
