Hi Everyone I haven't posted for a few weeks and thanks to everyone who gave me advice on nail oils. I haven't decided which one to purchase yet. Also really tempted to buy a leighton denny crystal file.

I will post my UU at the end of the month.

My skin on my cheeks sometimes gets lots of redness ? broken veins/ ? reaction to weather /? reaction to certain products. I went and asked clinique consultant the other day as they have a redness range. Don't know whether to buy or not as quite expensive for my budget especially if it doesn't work? Anyone any products than can recommend or used the clinique?

I love reading this thread and now have a whole wishlist of products I would like to try once my stash has decreased a bit (well a great deal actually

    xx

I would second and third what people have said about the LD file - I also have a glass Nails Inc one that I got in the sale in JL and keep in my weekend toiletry bag which works well too.

Like Mrs Addicted to Spending, I like the green anti-redness base from Clinique - if you live near Bicester the Cosmetics Company Store often has some of the Clinique anti redness products at reduced prices ;). I also use a green concealer from Lily Lolo when I use my Bare Escentuals foundation and that is good too.

:bdaycake: Happy Birthday trudij - have a great day - it is lovely when birthdays fall at the weekend.

 Bye bye xoxo - thanks for being so welcoming on the thread. Hope all goes well for you.

Willowbee I'm also addicted to UD liners and shadows

xoxo We're going to miss you :( But will look forward to your return, and will see you on fb! I hope everything in RL goes well for you *hugs*

    Happy birthday Trudij!!

Boots trial face cleanser for dry skin: WIBA? No (even if I knew what it was). It seemed to do a good job, but when it spluttered its last last night, I opened a Clarins one which took off much more dirt  I'm glad to finally open this cleanser (and matching toner), as I bought it last January, but had too many in stash to open it then. It really does feel like a treat, and I'm glad I saved it as the last of the cleansers in the stash to use.
Lush Magic Wand Bubble Bar: WIBA? Well, I have one left in stash, and although it smells lovely, it doesn't 'bubble' enough for me :( So no.

Had a mailshot about EL gift time, so will be re-purchasing my favourite moisturiser in the next week. I've been using up the random ones I have, but I'm missing my Daywear, and (if any) there's only going to be trial size ones in stash after the current Time Delay one I'm using finishes. The trial night serum I'm using also seems to be a bit spluttery, so may buy a night cream from EL too.

Glad jury service is over, it should be easier to keep up with you chatty lot :D

Ive got an out - frizz eaze curl control mousse. very old, no idea if it still exists, but i would buy again - it gives me nice curls without looking too poodle - no mean feat with my hair!!

and there was another IN that i forgot the other day - i also bought the Olay for people over 30, it was half price, im almost out of my beautiful benefit one that i adore, but i cant afford to buy another one of those just yet.

thanks for the birthday wishes - having a mixed day so far - nice pressies from my friends and a parking ticket... just about to have birthday lemon roulade for breakfast !! :D
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup
  • UU Molton Brown ultra smooth coco de mer body lotion WBA as lovely smell but for a body lotion bit pricey.

UU Olay total effects sachet exp 2008! I used it on my arms as I didn't want to chance it on my face as I sometimes react to Olay products but it was fine not iffy or anything. Will have to check if I have any other sachets that old.

    Have a good weekend ladies.
  • :j:j HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRUDIJ! :j:j

Lemon roulade for breakfast? Yum!
  • My Latest in Beauty boxes arrived today so have a massive no of INs :o. I don't count sachets as INs so this is what I am adding to my stash lists:

Balance me rose otto body wash 50ml
Neom Real luxury organic body wash 50ml
    Bamford Geranium body lotion 50ml
    Bamford Geranium body wash 50ml
Bamford Geranium botanic bath oil 30ml
Sisley Global anti age day & night 5ml
Clarins Multi active day cream 15ml
Dr Nick Lowe Oil control day cream 20ml
Bare Escentuals Fairly light foundation 10 day supply
Liz Earle Cleanse & polish 30ml
Figs & rouge sweet geranium lip balm 8ml
Madara eco face deep replenishing cream 5ml
Madara eco hands deep moisture hand cream 25ml
Lavera Hand cream with organic almond and shea butter 20ml
Monu Soothing touch recovery balm 5ml

I am really pleased with the selection - I can't wait to try the Sisley moisturiser - I noticed in the In Style best beauty buys mag (which I picked up free in John Lewis so didn't have to buy the mag) that Sisley won quite a few of the awards but nearly passed out at the prices! Makes Elemis PCMC look like a complete bargain!!

    Got some UU :j :j :j

Soap and Glory Breakfast Scrub - WBA because I love the smell, I've still got about 4 in the stash though

Philosophy Snow Angel bath and shower gel - WNBA as I didn't love the fragrance but I love Philosophy in general.

Has anyone tried the Philosophy products as shampoo? It says on the bottle Bath foam, Shower gel and shampoo but I'm not sure if it might be to harsh on my colour damaged hair! Opinions welcome.....

Liz Earle Clense and Polish 30ml - WBA I think this might be my HG cleanser after all the years of searching! Have another 30ml in stash and another due from LIB You box so no need to buy another yet

All in all a productive morning! Happy Weekend Everyone :D

I received my YOU box today. I've partly copied and pasted from kiplingmonkey's list ;)

    Bamford Geranium body lotion 50ml
    Bamford Geranium body wash 50ml
Bamford Geranium botanic bath oil 30ml
Sisley Global anti age day & night 5ml
Dr Nick Lowe Oil control day cream 20ml (v pleased to try this)
Bare Escentuals Fairly light foundation 10 day supply (really?? I've got barely a third of a teeny tiny pot to try)
Liz Earle Cleanse & polish 30ml (& a new muslin cloth - hurrah!)
    Lanolips sachet (1g)

The Bamford products smell of Lavender far more than Geranium. I'll be adding my own geranium essential oil to these as I'm not that keen on Lavender.

I'm now adding 'in' dates to my master list which should be helpful :-)
