  • My UU Champney's Moisture Miracle Skin Comforting Body Wash from Christmas gift set.
WIBA? Not for myself, unless they replace the annoying screw cap on the top down tube. The product itself does indeed moisturise, lathers beautifully and has a very pleasant smell, but so does OS Shea Butter and Honey shower cream for a fraction of the price. It was a lovely gift, but I lost some of it when I didn't tighten the top so tight that I couldn't loosen it again with wet hands in the shower.

So a really nice product with annoying packaging. We see that so often. That was my first PRCP use up of 2012 but I came across a 50 ml FCUK shampoo of my son's in a drawer. He keeps his hair short and won't use it. So I'll be weaving that in with my shampoos. I've used it and my hair feels great but that could be the John Frieda conditioner that came with the hair colour; the foam that dyed my hair in five minutes.

Hi Everyone I haven't posted for a few weeks and thanks to everyone who gave me advice on nail oils. I haven't decided which one to purchase yet. Also really tempted to buy a leighton denny crystal file.

I will post my UU at the end of the month.

My skin on my cheeks sometimes gets lots of redness ? broken veins/ ? reaction to weather /? reaction to certain products. I went and asked clinique consultant the other day as they have a redness range. Don't know whether to buy or not as quite expensive for my budget especially if it doesn't work? Anyone any products than can recommend or used the clinique?

I love reading this thread and now have a whole wishlist of products I would like to try once my stash has decreased a bit (well a great deal actually

    xx

Hi I have the same type of skin - redness, broken veins, reacts to weather etc  and have used the Clinique redness range - the daily relief cream is excellent but I can't afford anymore (it's £35) as I'm debt busting, otherwise I would defo buy it. The cleanser is Ok but I found it stung a bit when I put it on my skin - their Comforting Cream Cleanser was much better but works out expensive. I also use the Clinique redness solutions green stuff you put under foundation (can't remember the name :rotfl:) and that's brill - it's now one of my HG products that I can't live without (even tho I'm skint!).

    Hello

I have finally started to write a list , and have 176 items on it already and there are 2 more boxes to go and the other bathroom .

I dont know how could i let this get out of hand soo much...
I do fancy doing a 'Scrappie' - love the idea of throwing all away in one go and start from scratch. But i spent too much on these to throw it all away, so Iam taking it slow.

Threw away 3eyeshadows, one eye palette, a pore minimiser , 2 lisp glosses and used up the nail varnish remover and a small night cream sample. Feeling better already

    = 7 bin + 2 UU result !

Just a thought. If you really want rid of some it, have you considered donating some to a Women's Shelter/Refuge? When you arrive with nothing but the clothes on your back, anything is great. I donated a load of unused make up and sample sized lotions/potions via a friend who works in one. She said it went over great.
  • trudij: happy birthday!!
hope you enjoy your special day. :-)
  • Good night ladies and thank you for the welcome.

I wrote down my dressing table list and it has been quite an experience:eek: and has been quite scary. So much in such a small space!!

The worrying thing is that there are still more to list. The nail varnish holdall, the perfume bag, the holdall with various things, the storage boxes with the creams just to be going on with. Not even talking about gift sets.:(.

I've followed the lead of others and put items in use in red.

Oh well here goes.........Dressing table list PT 1

    PERFUMES
1 X L'eau d'Issey edt 100ml half full (not keen on smell - might end up donating)
    1 x Stella McCartney edt 100m - Splutterer
1 x Tommy Girl edt 100ml half full
    1 x PauL Smith Woman EDP 100ml
1 Addidas Woman Sport edt 50ml half used

    BODY

    1 One Planet roll on
1 Sanctuary Creme Souffle 475ml - working my way through, still a long way to go. Good thing I like the smell :)
    1 Derma V10 Mango body Butter 220ml
1 Sweet Almond Oil 250ml HG - use for skin and hair

    FACIAL
1 Avon Clearskin professional Daily Correction Lotion 50ml (HG - works well for me with complementing face scrub and mask)

1 Rimmel Gentle Eye makeup remover 125ml
1 Neutrogena Deep Clean Makeup remover (back up)

1 Avon Smooth Minerals Foundation Nutmeg

    1 Boots Cuticle Oil Rose

2 UU's Ojon Shampoo and Conditioner, nice, makes my hair lovely but has SLS and Silicones so WBA.

I'm using the conditioner at the mo and have a shampoo left to use up but I really don't like the smell. Will be glad when it's gone. It cost too much to TA. x

Does anyone know if these are different from other glass nail files? I like glass nail files, have a couple and its very pricey in comparison!

the LD crystal file is a lot different to glass files. When I use it it does visibly break the nail down creating a fine dust. My nails have definitely been a lot stronger since I started using it. I have been using it in conjunction with Nail Envy which I used on its own at first. Once I run out of Nail Envy I am going to try using the file alone to see if there is any difference then.

  • I second the endorsement for the Leighton Denny crystal file. It's fab and doesn't seem to 'split' my nails like emery boards do.

Sorry to hear that some of you ladies have ME. It's great that you are all staying positive and working towards our common goal of blitzing the toiletry stash!

I have some UUs. They were spluttering for ages so good to finally get a result!

Tigi bedhead control freak conditioner. 750ml flagon from TK Maxx, lasted ages. I really liked it. It smelled like those fruit salad penny sweets and really seemed to help to smooth my hair out. WBA.

Sanctuary facial wash. It does a nice job but would only BA with a £5 off voucher because full price it's expensive for what it is.

Jemma Kidd lip gloss. Think I got this free on the front of a mag or something. It was nice and a good colour but I WNBA because those tubes with a stick with a sponge on the end get on my nerves! You can never get the last bit out. Give me a squeezy tube any day.

Bourjois healthy mix concealer. Someone said this month that it's more exciting when you UU make up than e.g. Shower gel and it's so true, isn't it? Have been scraping the last bit from the tube for weeks. It's good but does not surpass Rimmel's majestic hide the blemish, so WNBA.

Have some more UU to declare 3x Nivea Pure & Natural Body Lotion 4ml sachets WNBA didn't like this at all.
  • Another UU Timoti golden hairlights conditioner, one of the best of the cheapys IMO.
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
