Hello everyone.
Reading all your posts has given me the courage to take the courage and join you to put into action what I had long been contemplating.
I just know that I need to join this group, because there are waaayyyy too many toiletries in our house.:o I don't tend to buy many things, though I was becoming hung up on the make up (colour palletes. OH is the main purchaser as he works in Mr Bs and finds it difficult not to buy up the bargains.:( Have body butters, lotions and creams coming out of the ears!!! Most of my bits are gifts due to working in a primary school. I do tend to regift or donate as tombola/raffle prizes but still the stash increases.:(
I need to pluck up the courage to make a list of everything:eek:.
I have just started making use of some of the body moisturisers as have been using almond oil and raw shea butter for last 2/3 years due to skin irritations and dermatitis. Still used where skin is inflamed.
Just started making use of a Sanctuary creme souffle given by DS for Mother's Day. So far no irritations so will keep on. Also managed to use up a bottle of Norwegian Formula body moisturiser.(WBA) :j
List will arrive in due course. It will commence with what's on my dresing table as easily visible due to a well needed tidy yesterday and ability to throw away a few old well past bits.:)0 -
Hi everyone! Have another 2 UU to report -
Sure Crystal deo - WBA, it does it's job but I have another one in the stash at the mo.
Listerine Zero mouthwash - WBA, it was quite nice. But have just replaced it with an aquafresh one that was on offer in Asda.
Scrappie, I need to start culling my makeup stash! There is a lot that is unopened that is still good so I should probably get round to ebaying that! The rest can just be chucked! I've earmarked a day next week to go through it all (and the rest of my room) to find stuff that will sell.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
1 UU and some INS but not counting as all necessary as non-stashed (ie boring!!) x
UU: Avon Foot works mint foot cream WNBA - too greasy. One of my INs is a tube of Flexitol as this UU meant the end of my foot cream stash :money: I know I could double up another moisturiser for my feet but they do need something with a bit more oomph a the mo.
Other INs: Deodorant for Emma and MrM and cotton wool pads.
Will have to replace my Cutex nail lacquer remover soon and am hoping that's all I spend on this month.
The Flexitol was paid for out of my Beauty Fund pot too. :money:Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I will have a UU tonight so I will declare it now
UU TBS Sweet Lemon Whip Body Lotion 250ml WIBA? Yes loved it soaked in easily and had a really refreshing sent. (mind you I never actually bought it in the first place it was free with a Bodyshop online order I think. There are only dregs left in the bottle at the moment might get half a leg out of it tonight. Have loads of other body lotions etc in the house so won't be buying any for a while.
My Mascara will need to be binned at the end of the month as it will have been open for 6 months (I tend to be careful with eye stuff, as worried about eye infections etc, especially as I'm a contact lens wearer). I have started using it every day now to try and UU before it reaches bin stage, even though I don't usually wear make up more than once or twice a week.
To be honest I think I'm going to start labelling products with date opened as it takes me so long to use them up, and sometimes have multiple things open.0 -

Estee Lauder Purple eye pencil - WBA, this was really soft and easy to use and didn't drag my eye at all. have about 4 other purple ones to use up first thou!
whats in it??
they don't say till the launch day 27th feb.my You box has been dispatched so looking forward to it coming, the rose otto skin cream sample was dr organic...was sure it was in a LIB box but can't see it to buy full size on the site,it smells divine and my skin is so soft using it,will have to google it.
re the lubricant i was sent to test, just read the package and there is an emergency number....is this is case DH has problems and I need a replacement do you think?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
had a box of goodies(not toiletries this time) from a floral supplies website I use(I use some to make flower arrangements to sell at chutch coffee mornings)so now have a stash of plastic Easter eggs/chickens/bunnies etc...spent the night planning what to make and worrying about what to charge...I need to cover my costs but people expect something for nothing at these events and I don't even charge for my time.
I covered a sphere of oasis with yellow and green ivy leaves last night, looks so pretty but the sphere cost £1 on its own and it took me about an hour to do but i do enjoy it as very relaxing:)0 -
Rosemary, I saw a website advertising woven craft labels (like made with love or handmade for you) with one that said "This took my bloody ages" (with the tag line because we know this is what you want to put) that made me laugh so much.0

Hello
I have finally started to write a list , and have 176 items on it already and there are 2 more boxes to go and the other bathroom .
I dont know how could i let this get out of hand soo much...
I do fancy doing a 'Scrappie' - love the idea of throwing all away in one go and start from scratch. But i spent too much on these to throw it all away, so Iam taking it slow.
Threw away 3eyeshadows, one eye palette, a pore minimiser , 2 lisp glosses and used up the nail varnish remover and a small night cream sample. Feeling better already
= 7 bin + 2 UU result !CC consolidated to £3400
Loan[STRIKE] £12770[/STRIKE] £7150
