Whoever was looking for deodorant recommendations; I highly recommend Dove stick deodorants. They smell nice enough and keep me fresh. When it gets really hot and sweaty, all you smell is the nice clean smell of the dove and it moisturises your pits beautifully!
Welcome newbies

Used Up
The Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Hair Butter - not really moisturizing enough as a hair mask imo, seems too runny for a "butter" consistency. I felt this was basically a more expensive version of conditioner, therefore won't buy again.
TBS Earth Lovers Cucumber & Mint Shower Gel - I bought this online because I was curious about the smell; I mean I like (eating) cucumbers and love minty scents, so surely it's only logical that I'd like this? Wrong... I couldn't really pick out the mint, the "cucumber" was terrible and certainly not refreshing like the real thing. This was used up pretty fast to make room for the next one.0 -
Hello ladies,I know it's off topic... But does anyone also have a stash of birthday/Christmas cards and gift wrap, tags, bows, ribbon etc? I think my stash of that could rival my toiletries
xxx
Oh my goodness. I'm so pleased that I found this community but I'm also a little nervous about signing up. I haven't started on my stash list yet (so daunting!) but I thought that if I don't sign up NOW I will keep putting it off, so here I am.
I'm going to number my outs like Mariella does so that I can see my progress. It's going to take me ages to complete a stash list as I've squirreled everything away so well...
I bought quite a few large sizes of things in the sales with the thought that I wouldn't need to buy any more things for ages. This will be fine if I stop buying but (of course) I'm here as it isn't always that simple!
How do people choose what to start using up? I'm torn between tackling old, less exciting stuff (practical) or using up what I really love (the marvellous PRCP). Help!
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all. I've read through Oct - today and found it fascinating and encouraging (though it did nearly end with me placing an order at TBS as all your body butters sounded great! :rotfl:)
I tend to rotate products so that I don't get bored so I'm not expecting to achieve lots of UUs. Really, the main thing is for me not to buy any more & I'm sure that the community support/spirit here will help so much. From now on I'm shopping my stash. (Eeeek!)
Some outs to get me started:
1. Vogel Atrogel Arnica Gel 100ml. WBA (I have already!) as this is my HG spot calmer. It's really effective and doesn't dry my skin out.
2. Boots Original Formula Cleansing Milk. I wish I could buy this again as it was gentle but effective but Boots discontinued the whole range. Grrrr...
I have a couple of splutterers to spur me on. I also have lots of beauty box sample sized things to use up. Fun! :j
Lovely to meet you all
Hi willowbee, what a lovely first post! I personally don't rotate products, prefer just to have 1 of each on the go and concentrate using that up, but everyone's different. That way you can keep things for longer, as the more products you have open for ages, the more likely they are to go off.
I have two UUs here:
travel sized hotel body lotion
LE skin repair moisturiser light. This has lasted an eternity, as do all the LE products. However, am not rebuying for the mo, as I have two other day creams in my stash.
One IN from a shopping trip in Germany:
Alverde lavender & cornflower handwash. Do not need any handwash, but was tempted by the gorgeous colour of this product until I got it home and realised it's the bottle that's coloured. D'oh.
