No uu yet, been to hairdressers had hair cut and coloured, managed to browse round boots without buying anything. DH taking me out for a meal later so will get chance to use some of my new soap and glory makeup that i bought last week.0

No UUs to report, but I think my obsession is slowly coming under control! I went to boots today to buy a spot cream/stick because my liz Earle one broke.
I didn't buy anything at all, just decided to use the sudocrem that is in the first aid box, I reckon it does the job just as well. Although I do only use it at night, can't be going to work with a white patchy face!!
No purchases at all, that's about 6 weeks since I've bought any toiletries. I'm on my last face wash and day time moisturiser, so will buy more when they are almost done. So unlike me!!
I know it's off topic... But does anyone also have a stash of birthday/Christmas cards and gift wrap, tags, bows, ribbon etc? I think my stash of that could rival my toiletriesxxx

So I am thinking... I could help you and you could help me!
I've come here not because I keep buying, but because I want to go out and buy. And who better to ask for advice, than you lovely people!!! And hopefully it can give you all the 'fixes' you need!
I need a brand new skin care regime. I am thinking
- scrub
- cleanser
- toner
- eye cream
- serum
- day cream
- night creams!
I am 25, I have normal skin. A few areas of acne around the forehead and chin - but I don't consider it to be an issue. Nothing that a little TLC / regime couldn't fix.
Oh and I don't have a problem with budget (within reason - no Creme de la mer options people) when it comes to the skin.
It is time to invest in my face!
Thank you :T0 -

Hi,
I'm also 25 with pretty normal skin, the odd hormonal spot but nothing major. I use Liz Earle cleanse and polish, toner and moisturiser, eye cream etc.
It works for me and it's not as expensive as some brands out there!
Hope you find something you like xxAll you need is less0 -

WNBA, it's not because I didn't like it, I just want to try some Elemis, but I'm waiting to get my stash down and treat myself to it. Or maybe to some Molten Brown. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

Hi newbies - welcome!
Sawan - wear mango or pineapple BB, I'll come sniff you if you are a big portable piña colada....
on in (the s&g mascara with elle [STRIKE]magazine[/STRIKE] advertizing book - what a croc of !!!!! that is !!!) and one out - the Rimmel waterproof one that fills the bags under my eyes quite nicely, but doesnt stick to my lashes....
the s&g one might well rival the benefit one for favouritism...
oh - and finally finished the benefit "its potent" eye cream tiny pot i got in that freebee set last year. discovered it in the bottom of a box, and decided to use. WIBA? - possibly, but ive got the clinique one from last years Glamour promo on the go now - have GOT to start trying to get shot of the bags !!! :rotfl:
off to do more cleaning, got a "friend" coming to stay for a few days tomorrow with his dog - hes been up north on the promise of a job, got to the yard to find that they decided they dont need anyone after all  so hes been sleeping rough since Tuesday  told him that Im going to get him tonight (from up near Coventry somewhere) but he said no - he will bunk down somewhere and hitch down to me tomorrow... ive not met this guy, but we have lots of (genuine!) mutual friends on facebook - having "known" him on there for two years or so, im really hoping hes not a mad axe murderer, but I really cant let him sleep rough when I have the ability to do something about it... just hope we can find him a job somewhere so he doesnt stay long!! :rotfl:
You are so sweet! There needs to be more people in the world like you. Your 'friend' is lucky to have someone like you. Good karma is on your way hun!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

I'm nearly 24 with sensitive skin/acne prone spots on my chin and i use Liz Earle too. Ive got an Elemis day cream thats really good too. don't go anywhere near the elemis melting cleansing gel, it completely set my acne off.0 -
I placed an order for Clarisonic Cleansing System, I had been waiting for it to be a TSV, so I will have a few INs to report next week.
Does anyone here have any hints, tips, advice about what works/doesn't work with it, any info. gratefully received.
I am also considering budgeting for a Tua Trend or similar, i am 63 this year, and although I am lucky to have good skin, it is not only all downhill from here, it is downhill at a fast pace I think!
I've had my Clarisonic MIA for about 2.5 years now. I couldn't live without it. Since using it (not even everyday), my blackheads are non-existent. I found that the clarisonic works with any cleanser, it's really wonderful - but it may tickle your nose hahaha
I'm use it now, but when I first got it, the vibration was too much for my nose and I always felt the need to sneeze. hhaahaha. Some women have complained that the vibration has caused eye twitching, so if that happens then obviously you can return it, but I haven't had that issue. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

4 Ins to report!!!
Superdrug were selling of the gift packs of Nivea Q10 day cream& eye cream down to £1.99 ... it was going to be a mothers day pressie but......i gave in and decided i would use it myself for that price! (Will check again on monday and pick mum up one too if there are still there!)
Plus after so much pleasure of yet another cheaply sourced face cream i thought i needed some pain for punishment so 20p on two full waxing kits also landed in my bag ready in time for legs reveal when the weather gets hotter:rotfl:
I have also decided that Saturday and Sundays i will wear makeup before i go out the house in the morning! in the attempt to use up some of the stash ... why do i have a stash of stuff that for the last 5 years i have worn only for "special trips out" So i have reviewed what i have ..... why on earth i have 5 mascaras albeit 1 black, 1 brown black, 1 waterproof, 1 volumising and 1 clear when 90% of the time i hadnt been wearing any i will never know! Plus if i start "looking" after myself maybe someone might get interested lol:o
Shampoos and conditioners all appear to be LHJ at the min, must use up elderly cleanser this month....must use up!:rotfl:HSBC [STRIKE]£3223.20[/STRIKE] £2060.00Cap1 [STRIKE]£1724.91[/STRIKE] £1782.00OD [STRIKE]£939.78[/STRIKE] £200.00No 49 of £2012 in 2012.. £645.10 so far & Crazy Clothes £14.09/£100.00 ReducingtheToiletryStash2012 UU12/IN 20 March Grocery 0.00/£65.00 & LbsNot£s Lost 14Lbs0
