How often do you use it? I didn't realise it would be as painful as everyone is saying! Maybe I'll stick to shaving. It's so much hassle though!

How many products have you used up this month?

i use it whenever i'd have shaved. its much less painful doing it little and often than waiting for a full leg of re-growth. I've forgot a few times and let it slide and it was like starting again!

i also find repeating expletives makes it hurt less. tried it after watching a mythbusters re-run on the myth that swearing reduces the feeling of pain and a documentary when stephen fry and brian blessed try it too. it def helps :rotfl:

mines really loud though, DH can hear from the other end of the flat when i use it. it has to properly get up to speed too. my bathroom is only separated from the communal corridor by a partition wall, i dread to think what people walking past must think is going on :rotfl::rotfl::p

this month I'm on 26 UU/TA and 7 GA :) think I'm due one more, my little origins vitazing sample pot has one more use in it.
  • Well I have two more INs to add to the never ending list!
Percy & Reed Finishing Polish came from my Glamour subscription and honestly haven't got a clue what to do with it or what it's meant to do.
No7 Beautiful Skin Quick Thinking Wipes, got paid by Boots to buy these in a slight glitch.

Has anyone used Schwarskopf Got 2 Be hair products before?

  • Not to be a naughty enabler, but this month's Cosmo has free Clinique products - according to the front of the magazine there's a lipgloss, a mascara, a face scrub or a moisturiser. Slightly smaller selection than the Glamour one and a bit more expensive (I think it's £3.50 as opposed to £2 for Glamour) but might be worth a look...

Actually just realised when I opened mine that it's got two products - combination of scrub or moisturiser and mascara or lip gloss (I got lip gloss and moisturiser with my subscription but am considering getting the scrub as well and trading the mascara as I've had it before and it wasn't great).

I also got the Percy and Reed hair mask with my Glamour subscription so am pondering getting the shampoo and conditioner as well...

we are(hopefully !) off to the airport tomorrow so will be looking out for the mags with freebies(last year I bought 3 copies of Glamour and left 2 (minus gifts!) in the cafe:rotfl:am wanting the moisture surge as not really worth buying for the cheaper things(it was fun getting DH to trawl through all the copies last time:))
when I say hoping to go to the airport that is because DH is in Cork(we live north of Cambridge) and at 9.30 tonight he will hopefully get on a plane home to stansted.if for whatever reason he does not get that plane there is one tomorrow morning which would get him home on time but if all goes wrong I may have to get a taxi to stansted to meet him to then drive on to Luton:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:(we have already booked the car park for his car so no point taking mine and paying more.To say i am nervous is putting it mildly(we are talking Ryan air!!!!)the same thing happened on our last holiday but he did get the late flight okay and was of course very tired. His work drives me mad,I see the stress fall off him after a couple of days away.In the past two weeks he has been to 6 airports and been away from home 5 nights which all involved late nights for him, yesterday he left home at 7 to fly to Dublin for a meeting then got a train to Cork arriving at 9.30 at night:mad::eek:he is not getting any younger and it is so annoying that people are treated so badly by firms(no overtime btw)

sorry to rant(yet again)...back to beauty uu a sachet of Nicky clarke shampoo and cond that came with little beauty box WNBA,nothing special and looked up the price online and cond is £16:eek:
  • Sorry to hear that they are really working your DH like a dog!!!! My DH travels quite a bit too, but he enjoys it. I hope that DH can find a different job that doesn't make him so exhausted :(

thanks but at 55 I dont think he will:(,it does get frustrating as with him away a lot I want to go out and go away for weekends etc but he just wants to stay at home:(
He checked his holiday allowance and found out he was still owed days off from 2010:eek::eek::eek:so have made him take 1 day at may bank holiday so we can go to a hotel and use the points he has earned from being away to pay for it:)plus a nice spa treatment each with coupons also earned from his business stays so every cloud etc!!!
they did say they wanted 24/7 cover for the UK.....er with two engineers...you have to laugh:rotfl:
  • " OUTs for me, sold a couple of UV hair gels on Ebay so these will be off tomorrow:)
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
  • GA's to my mother in law and also to charity:

    Yardley's Rose moisturizing lotion
Yardley's Rose hand and nail lotion
    Yardley's Rose body spray

*just not a fan of the rose scent

    UU's:
No 7 essential cleanser - absolutely hated it, sure I only paid £2.50 for it with the voucher, but WNBA. I sort of prefer that my cleansers lather.

Boots botanics eye makeup remover - very inexpensive and very effective. I WBA during an offer.

Ok 5 more before the end of Feb :) So happy to have done very well this month, despite having some unexpected IN's.

  • No 'ins' for me in Feb :). Got to buy toner this week though as mine's almost run out and I only have a Clinique one in stock and that's too harsh for my skin at this time of year - will have to use it up in the Summer.
