I tried a couple of the Clinique Pore Minimizer things, did not seem to do much for me either, TA one of them, the other still about somewhere. WNBA, but don't have much of an issue with pores now - drier skin post menopause and hot cloth cleanse these days, wish I had known about hot cloths years ago.

I hope the Karma thing works too, rotten way to repay you for all your kindness.

Thanks maddiemay - I am not holding out much hope on the pore minimiser now. Oh well it was a GWP from ages ago.

I have TA tonight. My No7 mascara GWP size. It is less than three months old but when I went to apply it tonight it was dried up! So WNBA as I didn't care much for the product but did like the brush.

    :bdaycake:

Happy birthday assert. I also get what you mean about the last ten years. I had that thought not so long ago myself.

OT Is anyone planning to watch the Oscars tomorrow?

One IN yesterday but was necessary and I "paid" for it with AP. 1 bottle of Cutex Ultra Cleansing nail polish remover. There is probably only one application left in my current bottle.

Haven't seen the Glamour mag anywhere. Is it exclusive to a certain shop?

Have repainted my nails this am and am now wearing OPI Cara Mia Crimson. The Chocolate Shakespeare I was wearing yesterday needs some thinner putting in as it has gone gloopy and so didn't dry properly once I'd applied it and was smudged in 2 seconds.

Spent ages online yesterday morning getting One Direction tickets for my daughter. Managed to get them - they were selling out every time I tried to order - but have ended up with seats right at the back and had to buy 3 because the site would only allocate 1 or 3 Grrrr! Have sold the extra one to her friend though so that's not so bad. I noticed that the vultures were already selling them online at astronimical prices. It is so wrong. I think the Law needs to be changed to stop this happening.

No, won't be watching the Oscars.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

My copy of Glamour was a subscription copy so it will probably be in the shops on Wednesday. Think there are 4 different products in the magazine of which you will get one of shampoo conditioner hair mask and sorry can't remember what the fourth is.

Update on the foundation situation, after trying the new Estee Lauder one yesterday, you'll be glad to know that my skin seems fine today so doesn't seem to have had a reaction to it. When I took my makeup off last night (after leaving it on for 12 hours) my skin felt great best it has for a long time it must have been the serum and moisturizer that she used ( so may need to think about switching to these in the long run). Going to use it today see how well it works with my usual products etc.

Which serum & moisturiser did she use? I use Idealist (standard version) & Daywear. I've used them both for I'd say at least 6 years, and love them! I've tried other skincare, but I 've always come back to these. Finally almost finished the random ones, so going today to buy moisturiser :-) And my Mum's (she uses Resilience Lift) and obviously combining it to get a GWP ;-)

I usually watch a bit of the Oscars, but not all of it.

Can't remember which ones but they have kept a record for me. I think the serum was idealist and the moisturizer was a green on with cucumber in it. Both had lovely natural sent, hate products that smell like they emptied a bottle of perfume into it and those ones usually cause me skin problems. I usually buy No. 7 for moisturizer and serum, but this may change. Also loved the lip gloss she put on me. Wish I'd tried Estee Lauder years ago.

Also the little bit of rash I had on my cheeks from trying a product last week seems to have cleared up.
