I think DH's band practice has been cancelled. So much for time to myself.:rotfl: He was meant to be taking his friend home afterwards so I think he might still be doing that, so at least I might get a little time to myself.

Does anyone know which delivery company Accessorize use? We live in a new-build and Royal Mail have no problems getting our post to us but other delivery companies have problems because our postcode isn't showing up on sat navs yet. I have a tracking number but Accessorize haven't told me who's delivering!

I got my Glamour magazine through the post today and it had a freebie with it, so one IN to report.

Percy & Reed London Splendidly Silky Moisturising Shampoo.

My glamour mag has come as well so i also have ins to declare.

Percy & Reed Totally TLC Hydrating Mask 100ml
And oddly Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid 1.5ml sample i think the colour on this one is 2WN1 where as my 10 day sample is 2CN1 not that I understand the codes.

And my hydrating Mask has teeth marks as one of the dogs got there first.
  • Phew - have finally caught up with all your posts - have had a really busy week so haven't managed to log on sincvve the middle of the week. What a lot has been going on!

Opinions please do I continue on we current open foundations which I'm not really happy with or get rid and try something else or try using these up while trying other products?

I would get rid of the foundations you are not happy with - if my make up doesn't feel right then I don't feel as confident - I know that I should feel the same regardless but having great make up does make a difference.

Helen 1971 - great news on your grievance outcome. That must have been terrible for you

Trudij - how awful. I'm wishing bad karma right now...

LadyM - glad to hear the assessment went well. Can't help with Accessorize I'm afraid but the bag looks lovely and I am sure you will enjoy it when they finally track you down. I have a similar problem with the courier from Debenhams if I have things delivered to work.

    And finally some UUs:

Liz Earle skin repair - this is my staple neck cream - my friend asked me not that long ago what I used on my neck as it wasn't very lined and was surprised when I told her what I had been using. I got this tip from an early edition of The Beauty Bible and can highly recommend it so WBA!

Boot No 7 stay perfect eye shadow base - this really keeps eye shadow looking fresh and WBA. It is usually what I use when I get the £5 vouchers although have several in my stash so won't be doing that as part of the current promo. I used to use Clinique Touch Base but then discovered this so tend to stick with this as a more :money: alternative.

    Have a great weekend everyone.

I love this moisturiser though I haven't used it for a long time. My Elemis Neck and Bust Cream is spluttering and I can't afford to replace it so was looking for alternative. I see that LE now do a neck and bust cream - have you tried this? Just wondering if thee is any comparison between the two products. Think I'll have a mooch on QVC and see what reviews are like.

Am repainting my nails. On my fingers will be wearing OPI Chocolate Shakespeare and on my toes I have painted Sephora by OPI Mermaid to Order.

Need to go to Boots later for a bottle of Cutex - on very last drop - and am planning to spend APs on it. Will be strong.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I'm meant to be working on my stash list.. and I really don't want to :(

  • Sawan - don't do your list if you're not in the mood to. I found making my list quite therapeutic. The result was quite horrifying but I quite enjoyed the process :rotfl:

I was awake until 8.30am (my insomnia has gone crazy - this happens from time to time). I gave up trying to sleep at about 4am and started listing my make up, just for something to do! I've not finished and I'm not sure the list is in a very helpful form yet (it's by bag/container rather than type of make up). It cheered me up a bit as my make up was better organised than I remembered and although I have too much I haven't found anything really awful yet :rotfl:

I think the Estee Lauder codes WN means Warm skin tone and CN means Cool skin tone - I'm sure I read it in a magazine somewhere :). The numbers are the shades light going through to dark. So if the sample chosen for you by the SA is a warm skin tone then you're probably better to stick to that as it will look better on your skin than the cool one.

Helenpie - I'm glad you got the work bully sorted even though it's been very tough for you.

Trudij - can't believe your house guest stole from you - that's terrible .

LadyM - I liked seeing your make up stash! I haven't got as many eyeliners or mascaras but have more eyeshadows, blushers and lipsticks! I have much more of a problem with make up than toiletries though I've been really good since I joined this thread and haven't bought anything :A - though I don't need anything for about 10 years :rotfl:.

You say that, but I've been putting it off for months!! I'm never in the mood :rotfl: I'm horrified without even starting it!! :rotfl:

I'm also a bad sleeper. I tend to make lists in my head as I'm far too lazy to get up to get a pen & paper (and in the vague hope I'll fall asleep again!). Although having said that, this week is one of my best, only woke up one night :j

  • Sawan - I'm sorry that you struggle to sleep as well. It's very draining/dispiriting. I'm glad that you've had a good week though :j Fingers crossed your body will stay with that rhythm and allow you another good week :)

You seem to be doing well enough without a list so maybe you don't need to force yourself to do it? I needed to take the plunge to make sure that I really committed to this thread (I needed the shock ) but if you haven't needed it so far then maybe you shouldn't spoil your Saturday :rotfl:
