Oven housing: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/00102372/?query=001.023.72 £22
Legs: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/20049538/#/20054563 £6
Worktop: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/00124086/ (you actually only need half of it) £20
Oven: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/40166791/ £112
Filler for under oven: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/10129540/?query=101.295.40 £3
Total: £163
Add £18 if you want the drawer mechanism to go under the oven. However if you're not attaching to the wall, you'd probably want to put a couple of bricks in the space under the door to help weigh it down so it doesn't tip over when you open the door and spill the roast dinner all over you...
Okay, thanks everyone - seems we're getting somewhere now
Unfortunately I'd budgeting on picking up a second hand oven/hob for about £100 total before I realised I needed a 13A plug.
Given I can buy a couple of induction hobs for about £50 and I can stretch my budget a little bit, I'd be willing to splash out about £80 max for the single oven unit and all basic fittings. Is there anywhere I can get a decent 13A single oven for this price? Second hand is fine. Just wanna check it's doable....0 -
I hope you're not planning to plug all these high load devices into an extension lead? Look on freecycle/freegle to see if anyone is giving an oven away following a kitchen refit.0

I have a 13A Beko Compact cooker, Cinerus.Useful size oven. Can't have the oven on at the same time as the two hobs. But also have a microwave and slow cooker, so no problems.
Measures 22.5" wide by 13" high and 15" deep. Notice loads of spares on the internet. Got mine from an auction £25 but you could as someone says try Freecycle or Freagle.0 -
Thanks Ken, do you have a model number so I can look it up?
I'm all over freecycle/freegle already0 -

Had you thought of a Halogen Oven. £30/£40 new0 -
Beko Compact Cooker MC112W... MC112G..... MC112B.
Unfortunately they look like mini ovens which are way way way too small.Had you thought of a Halogen Oven. £30/£40 new
If I'm not mistaken, halogen ovens are way too small too. No chance of doing a roast with yorkies in one of them let alone a pizza or similar...
Unless they now make big ones?0 -
I can do a large chicken, roast taters and yorkshire pudding in the Beko, in fact if I bought another wire tray/main tray can do even more. It is not a tiny mini oven. I use it mainly for the pressure cooker on the big hob.0

The thing is, ovens need a dedicated spur, directly back to the fuse box, for safety - when on they can pull a lot of power.
Trying to circumvent this and then using your solution could lead to an overload on the system.
If you need to cook full family meals in a full sized oven, then you can do a lot of research and still end up realising that you'll have to do it "the proper/safe way" and get a spur fitted.
You can do two pizzas in a mini oven - different shelves, just switch them over half way through. You could cook a yorkshire and roast (for two) in them if you get the right sized baking dishes that just fit. But if you end up having 2-3 appliances plugged in to achieve a full oven/hob effect then you might just find it all shuts down at the fuse box every time you want to do a big dinner.0 -
Untill recently (for something like 10year period) I never had an oven. Did everything either slow cooker or steamer or microwave. Not on all at the same time. Preference is for the slow cooker, but planning needed.0
