Give up, parcels gone, police don't seem to care, time to move on.
    The money, Dave...

No, dont give up when some people have lost hundreds or even thousands of pounds. When I spoke to DC Haddaway I was informed that he hadnt been contacted by many people. People need to contact him so he can build up a big picture and then action may be taken...
  • Anyone?... Anything?...
  • I have been following Kevin Kings activities, since he last delivered parcels for us in Loughborough, luckily we got out before he started to let everyone down.
Anyway, a letter we received today may interest you all:-

    Dear Sirs,

I am writing to you with regards to your unwanted Sale returns. I am an authorised charity collection agent whom collects unwanted clothing, accessories, books, toys, mobile phones and other unwanted household items.

I understand that companies such as yourself dislike to make a loss on such unwanted items, and I wish to purchase it from you at an agreeable rate per tonne, this is usually around £200. (20p per kg).

Whilst doing this I get the chance to support charities worldwide by raising funds throughout nationwide charity shops. Clothing and books are usually sent to other countries mainly third world in order to cloth the needy and provide books for vital learning.

Currently I am raising funds for the Childrens's Welfare Foundation which is a registered (1113250) UK Charity supporting critically ill babies throughout Local NHS hospitals.

If you are unable to help at this time, please could you help by making a small donation made payable to the Children's Welfare Foundation.

Please do contact me with your decision, if you would like for me to come and meet you I an willing to do so at a time convenient for you.

I look forward to your reply,

    Yours Kaithfully

More like he's collecting clothing to sell to the recyclers which then shred them & make blankets & padding

A friend of mine is a Manager at a local charity shop & they get a lot more per tonne, as they recycle any clothes not suitable to be sold in the shop.

He's also mentioned the latest scam of fake charities dropping of clothing sacks to residential households & just filling a van up & then selling the load of, I guess this is KK's latest way of trying to earn a living.

EDIT: A quick search on Google for 'Children's Welfare Foundation' = Clothing Scam Companies

  • Well if he is about again, we can at least bombard him with telephone calls on any numbers he may use... ;-)

I know what I'd be doing.

Presuming his charity claims are untrue... this is a matter for the police. Please can you make sure that a copy of this letter is passed on to DC Haddaway?...
