Three periods here in the Highlands, so the CWP will be good news for my OAP neighbours.0

over 3 inches of snow here and I'm not due for a cold weather payment. I'm wearing 4 layers to bed, have an under blanket a blanket and a winter duvet on plus a hot water bottle.. Still not warm.0

How do you know if you're entitled to claim a CWP? There was one period in CV5 area and the money could come in handy so we can have the heating on for a little while.Current Debt

Just checked the website - I currently get working tax credits but I can't work out if this would mean I am entitled to the CWP because it seems to have every other benefit on there.Current Debt

why cant us workers get the payment? after all we feel the cold too and we dont get any extra wages dues to a temp drop, we just have to budget our cash to last. Scrap the payments i say.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

Confusion here, if Bristol (filton) has an alternative why is it in Wales St Althan.
Wales is colder than Bristol, but if St Althan is triggered, it isn't a true reflection on whats going on in Bristol.
If this is right, then someone in an office somewhere has geography issues and they wonder where the money wastage is.
And no i would not be rubbing my hands with glee for extra money towards my heating bills if the readings are being taken in an area miles away nowhere near where i am. Even Bristol Filton doesn't reflect the weather i get where i am but it's the nearest one, Although Bristol Airport weather station would be a true reflection.0 -
I think it should be scrapped too, but it's automatic payments so I'm not going to grumble and refuse.0
