Just got tickets to see John Carter in Cardiff (Sky) but noticed it's on a Saturday and I've never got tickets to see a film on that day, it's just normally always been a Sunday. Just checking to see if it's the right date, the 3rd of March.

It is the correct day of the week. It is rare but we do sometimes get a Saturday screening. usually if there is a charity screening of same film at another cinema. At least this is what seems to happen in Liverpool.

Muppets screening by Sky was also a Saturday morning.

And John Carter is screening on both Saturday and Sunday. Looks like Saturday is back in favour!

Was wondering if anyone has been to AMC Cinema in Manchester? Have just got 2 tickets to see Aliens (thanks to Steve9872) but didn't even know this cinema existed! I've googled it and it just looks like a small doorway in a row of shops!


Does anyone know the best place to park please?

I went to Grimmfest there last year. There is a car park underneath the complex. The place is a huge warehouse looking building.

Is the car park signposted and do you know how much it costs please? Trying to work out the most cost effective way of getting there.

Sorry, I went there by public transport as I don't drive but I think it's the normal rip off NCP prices. That link gives you info on how to find them

That looks a lot better than the google maps shot . I've not been down that end of Manchester for years - usually go to the Printworks - and hadn't realised how much it had been developed

Don't know if this still works but if you apply to the casino for membership, you get discount on car parking.
