Just phoned PO as my PPI forms sent to Barclays on 1st are still showing as in syst5em on there tracking site, phoned the up but was wasteing my time really said that as it's over three working days will class it as mislaid when it gets to fifteen working days it will be lost, then you can fill in caim forms etc. all I want is for it to get there, so will post othere forms off on monday and send them Guaranteed Next Day this time and hope they get there.0

You only need to do proof of posting,if this goes to FOS,they will deem the letter to have got there the next day.
Save yourself money, ring Barclays up and ask if they have received it.0 -

Have you ever heard of Barclays taking a complaint over the phone without needing the questionnaire? My sister rang them this morning regarding an old mortgage insurance and they said she will hear in up to 8 weeks0

Tried phoning Barclays and they said no Joe Public telephone number for PPI Claims Dept, Leicester, where forms where posted to, so cannot confirm whether they have received claim forms or not. So will just have to send duplicates and pay extra for quaranteed next day delivery and signature asap.0 -

I just called the main telephone banking number 08457 555 555 to ask if my forms had turned up... he was able to check.
Needless to say they have not turned up, i did'nt send the recoard post (wish i had). I had just sent the forms in though without phoneing them first... He took all my details down, gave me a reference number, plus another contact number 0845 6090806. I should be receiving a letter soon apparantly, and i'm to phone the new number once the letter arrives to see whats happening (ie if my forms have still not turned up). There sending out blank forms aswell, just in case.
I must say the guy i spoke to was very helpful, lets hope it stays this way..0 -
