Claiming PPI from Barclays

Just about to fill in the "PPI Reclaim Forms" to claim from Barclays Bank for my son, he has had three loans from them first one dated back to 2003 the last one started in 2005 which have all been paid off now so any tips from you experts would be appreciated, not hopefull for first two but as Martin says you have got to try don't you..

Make sure you put all account numbers on the claim form,if you are not sure about anything, then put you dont know.

Don't be so sure about not being hopeful about the first two, as I phoned the Barclays PPI Line and the lady said that you can go as far back as 1997.

    Good Luck

I and others on this site have won ppi from the 90s,so you stand a chance.
Does not matter if you put all 3 on one form,or individually,it just saves time form filling!,especially if the reasons for mis sell are the same.

Thanks for that "amersall" it would have saved me a bit of time looking back but we were'nt sure so we ended up filling in three seperate forms and put them all in one envelope and posted them yesterday, they all seem to be linked anyway IE one for twelve months which is paid off after about eight months by takeing out a slightly bigger loan for another two years etc etc, anyway we'll see what Barclays come back with. by the way Is there a given time scale to when they have to respond to the forms etc (the same as when we reclaimed bank charges a few years ago there was a given time scale for each partcular part of the procedure) or is it just a case of when they decide to get back in touch with you?

You should have an acknowledgment within 2 weeks, they then have a further 6 weeks to give you a final response.

These loans were rolled over,so all ppi will be redressed (if you win) less any rebate they gave you on the settlement of each.
