actually my cheapie oven broke and to cut a long story short, I need a good built in single new one. Anyone reccommend any good one?

Perhaps if you could give us a budget we could point you in the right direction...

I don't really want to spend more than £600 ideally. Self clean option important.

Ok, in that case, this is probably the best sub £600 single cooker around at the moment (Ok, only just under at £599, but seriously, well worth it):

If you want to save £70, then I suppose this is the best of the ovens around £500:

But to be completely honest, it's MILES behind the Siemens in quality and at least you know with the Siemens you are getting a German product, with the Electrolux, it all depends on the model as to where it is made. Some in Europe, some in South America and some in China...
