Jaxx - thinking of you and your family
Glad the evening has rolled around - wow it has felt like a long day. What with a few issues with the car park this morning, being busy all day and whatnot it's absolutely flown. Tea was a success, and the look on Mr Kitchenbunny's face when I told him what was for tea was lovely. He's going through it a bit, so any small pleasures I can provide, I try. Had another successful day, what with finding Lidl cheaper for me in some areas than Mr M and I can save myself a bit of money. I like that.
Anyway, I'm getting a bit sleepy already. Feels like I should be in bed! Have a good evening, everyone. (((hugs))) to those in need.

Evening all,
I just had to pop on and share that I've just ordered a new oven. Just the single oven for now as when we re-do the kitchen we have a hankering for a range - we're working on a two year plan so the little oven will do for now. It's £340 in C***t but was £189 online :T Can't wait to get it and have it up and running so I can bake again without crossing my fingers coz the old one was very hit and miss
Had a very nice day, Home Bargains this morning, a carvery lunch and Abakhan for a mooch and some fabric with DD1 and DD2 this afternoon and a takeaway on the way home so DH happy too.
DD2 got job interview in London soon for job as travel rep abroad - am not sure, I worry about it being comission based but she seems quite keen.
Positive vibes to all

Freezing here, but no snow or even ice.
I've had a lovely day. Took work kids to fire station for a visit today. They do a good team building and informative day, but they showed us a horrific video about texting and driving  very graphic but my god did it make you think so was definitely good. And in fairness to them, my work kids had a healthy discussion about the issue and came out with very good points.
Then I finished early at 2pm so me and 2 of the girls could go to a local spa for few hours. We bought a voucher each on Groupon for £8 which gave us access to pool, sauna. steam room, jacuizzi (sp?) and chill out room. Plus we got sandwich, scone and drinkincluded. It was just what I needed after a bad 2 weeks. Feel so much more relaxed now
We went out for food after too, 2 courses for a tenner. We asked for desert to go cos we were full (and it worked out cheaper to take the desert than pay for one course! :rotfl:)
OS......ummmm.......:o
