Should I move to Sky broadband?

I have been with BT for ages for phone and broadband and haven't had any major problems with them.
Current phone / broadband contract expires in Feb - I'm on Option 3, unlimited broadband with free evening and weekend calls, currently costing £23-60 per month (£13-60 line rental, £10 for calls and broadband.)
Just phoned them up and the cheapest they will offer me from end of current contract is £13-25 for broadband plus a one-off £120 for annual line rental, effectively £23-25 p.m.
We have a full package with Sky, and their deal for comparable phone / broadband (Sky broadband unlimited and talk package) is just £16 p.m. for the first 12 months (£3-75 broadband, £12-25 line rental), increasing to £19-75 pm after that.
We hardly ever use the landline for daytime calls, as we use mobiles.
Whilst I would prefer to stay with BT just for convenience, the price difference is too much to ignore and I am therefore seriously considering moving to Sky (their price also includes access to Sky Anytime +)
The only thing that's holding me back from just pressing the "Buy" button for the Sky deal is what their reliability and service is like?
Any guidance / sharing of experiences with moving to Sky would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

You should have no problems at all.
Just confirm that you can get Broadband Unlimited LLU from your exchange before taking the plunge.
You could save more by paying £119.40 for 12months line rental up front.
Wifi from the Cloud will be coming to Sky broadband customers in 2012 as well.
Just read that the BBC and ITV iPlayers will be coming to the Sky+ HD boxes later this year.

Sky are currently offering 12 months free line rental, you could get unlimited broadband for £7.50 a month seeing as you already have TV.
Good luck cancelling BT, you're going to need it!Estate Agent, Web Designer & All Round Geek!0 -

Thanks for all the answers, much appreciated.
From what's been said, it looks as though the actual transfer could be relatively painless.
As I've never moved from BT, how have other people transferring ISPs found the challenge of changing e-mails addresses - not just for contacts but for all the online sites registered with?0 -
You still haven't said if Sky is actually available LLU on your exchange? If not, you'll be on the dire Sky Connect service.
Email: it's not a 'challenge'. Don't use the Sky address, set up a Gmail account, that takes 10 minutes. Then a group email to all your address book contact-5 minutes. Online accounts--maybe an hour or so depending on the number?
You only have to do this once, then your email address will be ISP -independent forever. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Just to quote recent news, Anytime+ will be available through any broadband supplier in future, not restricted to Sky Broadband.0
