I have access to several tablets and bearing in mind what tablets are good for - surfin' the net and playing media files, you will not get better build, or spec for the money. The apps are rapidly multiplying and the OS2.0 will only improve that, but thnk how man Ipad or Android apps are actually of any use - very few.Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.

That's the one thing about the PB - the apps are useful
....I had probs with 1.0.6 and 1.0.7 but since phoning the tech guys and repairing it (alas I lost a load of files and everything I had sideloaded) it's all sorted
.....
Lexulous is on the PB now too

I have a 32gb model. I also own an Android tablet. It got too clunky and that's why I went to the PB.
Works fine for what I want it to do. Surf the net on holiday, inbuilt e-reader. No problem finding WiFi when we were in Mexico last month. It was awesome (my kids word) when we linked up and had a chat.
I'm happy. I'm not an Apple person and that's what it comes down to. Buy the Apple (got an app for everything) mentality or try out different products and determine what you need/want.0 -
as well as various other travel routers working with broadband dongles that you can unlock and use cheap data cards with (uk/elsewhere)
Wouldnt mind knowing more about them...especially the ones for use outside the UKDont you just love freshly congealed pigs blood, with a bit of fat in0 -

can anyone confirm (or deny) that services like 4oD, ITVplayer, demand5 and the VEVO part of youtube works on the Playbook?
I know some of you are saying the Playbook doesn't have many apps but IMO it has the best one, a web browser with full HTML5 and Flash support, do people spend much time on their tablets playing games and using apps or is it mainly used for web surfing? for me it would definitely be the latter and I want it to be able to do everything I want it to.0
