The 'f' is because some GCers posted their February budgets on the January thread.

    Hope that helps,

Good morning, I am going for £350 again for this month. I was going to try and reduce it is a shorter month but instead am going to include DD1s school dinners (she has them on a friday) and it is also DS 5th birthday next week so although party food is going to be seperate, i can forsee me buying extra treats anyway :D

I am also going to start trying the 2nd purse system and will pop a tenner in there today.

Good luck everyone and also thanks to everyone who keep this thread going :T

i was wondering what the f was all about lol

well my shoppings due today, will be making cheese and brocolli pasta for dinner, but i can't make it til the shopping comes because i've no butter or pasta :( cumberland pie for lunch and the kids had the last of the butter on toast this morning.

have had a few spends of juice already, however i'm confident about this month :), after today i will eb well stocked up on junk food, i'll be going to te$co every week whoopsie shopping because i'll be passing the store every thur, my plan is to go on a wed/thur and then go to lidl on a monday for bread (if there not some in the freezer) and milk and do no other shopping :), once my appointments are finished and i'm not passing a tesco i full intend to start using everything from my freezer so come summer we can acually fit a few lollys in :)

  • Hello everyone :)

I am changing what will be covered in our grocery budget from this month to include dh's cigarettes and booze (he's trying to cut down on both so makes sense to add to a budget).

Please can you put me down for £550 for February, will include all groceries, cleaning materials, toiletries, booze and cigarettes.

I have a big monthly shop coming tomorrow so will update my sig then.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Went over budget last month as I have tooth problems and needed lots of soft foods :( A more realistic budget is going to be £200 for February!

  • I am up to £20.09 for Feb so far, but I did buy a lot of meat yesterday so that restocked the freezer a little bit. Might pop up to Aldi today and see what the super 6 are. Normaly I wouldn't waste the fuel, but I am picking up a new car today and still have half a tank in the old one!:p

I am so sorry Winchelsea for your loss, warm wishes.

Can I join? I did post on the January thread my goal for February but I can't see my name on the from page.

    My goal is £173

I can't figure out how to get the font bigger.
