Don't forget to take your own bags and if you get a lot of tins etc. Pick up boxes from around the store to put them in. When you get to the till the operator will whizz through every thing so you just wack everything back into the trolley and pay and then go to the packing shelf and pack everything.
Best thing is to write a shopping list, go online to Tesco and write down what you would pay there and then go the Aldi/Lidl and compare the prices on your shopping list and get anything cheaper then go and finish your shop in Tesco.Debt free as of 29.10.2020 🎉😁

I always only used to shop at Tes** but now I do as Tiger feet suggested. I write my list go online to My Supermarket type it in and print. Then I go to aldi first getting as much from my list as I can, then I get the rest in Tes**
I didnn't like @ldi when I first went but love it now. Sometimes the super 6 fruit is a bit sparse but I have definitely reduced my shopping bill doing it this way and no complaints from the family.
I am very lucky that I have an @ldi & L*dl opposite each other and a huge Tes*** just around the corner from them:jSealed Pot Challenge 2011 / no. 1205 £110 made]Sealed Pot Challenge 2012/no 1205 target £300Jan g/c 355.83/£450

How strange, it's happened to our loo roll too! Must be a bad batch :rotfl:
Re A!di and !idl, I am a total convert. If you ever see a copy of good housekeeping magazine lying around, there's a whole page near the back devoted to their best buys which include loads of A and L products. They sell lovely chocolate too!Make £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

Ahh - wish I'd know this on Saturday!! Went to Aldee for the 1st time and was shocked when the till operator told me sharply to stop packing everything into my bags!!!:o Great advice tiger feet!
It's advice like this that's really helpful when trying out new sm tactics!
I used to go to L!d! when I lived in Wales and they were happy for me to pack as they scanned, but maybe that's just the difference between shopping pace in London and South Wales!!!:rotfl::rotfl:
I found the fruit and veg in Aldee to be great and the super 6 were really good value:)0 -
