    Hi all.
Welcome home Freeby, hope you had a great time.
Question! I said on Saturday that DH had spent money in Mr M's. when actually DD had bought the stuff and we had to pay her back. Which I did today. Does that mean that I can declare Sat as an nsd pretty please? If so, it would be NSD No 9 and 5 in a row. Or is that cheating?

Big spend day today, lovely meal in the local pub with DH and DGS and then nipped over the road to Ald!. Exciting eh!

thanks l2b i don't have a fund for my cooker just yet it was insured and i was paying 5 a month for ten months but got letter other day aying they want £34 a month :eek:no chance of that so i need to save as much as possible before it gets too old 14yrs its done well but everything is taking so much longer to cook its gas and i'm not good with electric ovens always had gas cooker but if it comes to it i might try a mini oven and if i don't like it so much it will at least do meals till i can save up for a gas one again thanks again and hope you get your new cooker soon

Just wondered if you had considered one of the Halogen ovens.
Bought mine for £12 on Ebay.Easily do four portions and use very little electric. Just a thought, might tide you over. I amalso saving for new gas cooker.

meg ,beanielou thanks for suggesting halogen oven i bought one as a gift for my daughter but her dad had one didn't like it too bright so gave it to her before i did so in end i sold other one as i had a combi microwave at the time don't have that anymore just a basic one it will be mostly for the kids food i can manage on one ring for my meals with microwave as well will check ebay later not sure how it works
i do like a gas cooker more than electric even though an electric one can turn itself off very handy with forgetfull teenagers:rotfl:

hope you get your new cooker soon do you know which one you are getting so many to choose from ?

Where is everyone tonight? having romantic evenings eh? ;)

Well not a NSD for me...for 49p on some toothpaste  (yes, it was on offer, and yes I did have a coupon) but everything else I went in for was either OOS or mysupermarket was too eager changing the prices  Hey ho, can hopefully nab one tomorrow instead - I can't think of anything I need...oh wait, Comfort on offer in Mr S...and I have coupons..oh heck!
NSD 9 today. Sorted through the freezer last night and we have plenty of food so how come every time we go shopping we spend 50 pound plus:mad::mad:. I meal plan the week and write a shopping list. Got the mountain of ironing to do tonight oh the thrill of being a mum!!!!!!!!!!

I am with you there Donna, even though there's two of us, I sometimes wonder how I manage to buy so much - luckily these days although I spend, using coupons and whoopsies, plus APG and JTD means we're really quite well stocked - it's a balance of keeping a stockpile (taking advantage of things when they're on offer) and being sensible.

Well, my romantic evening was spent cooking lasagne for tomorrow night - still recovering from mince and tattie fest last night- although I was tempted to have a nibble tonight, it does look gooooood :D cooked it tonight as mince needed using up.

It also looks like I can save £190 a year on our phone/bb if I switch provider  Its not that I've been lax in doing this, but I was waiting for our area to be upgraded so I could swap to who I wanted to (sadly can't take advantage of Tacto offer as not in their area for it) Will bascially save £5 a month on our phoneline and half on our bb :T:T

Right, sarnies to make for tomorrow ...nite all xx

Thanks, NoI havent decided yet which Gas Cooker to get, except that I know I want a high level grill, dodgy knees so cant bend down too easy now.

I admit defeat and pass the NSD crown to Missus Knitty. :j:j

No NSD for me yesterday as I had to do a shop and get fuel.
I will have to get a grip again, I feel like I am starting to slip
