NSD No 8 today :j only because Wickes didn't have a 2 gang socket in stock so DH went to another branch & got it & the local sewing shop was shut this afternoon so I've rummaged round in my box for some bias binding to let my new trousers down. I did buy long ones on Monday but I'm quite tall and as they were reduced in to a fiver I thought they were worth the effort!! Every little helps
Hope to get another NSD tomorrow
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
NSD ruined by craft magazine and Ebay

Spendy day today, had productive day on the debt busting so as treat hubby wants to order Chinese, haven't had take out in almost 3 months, so instead of ordering in and spending £20+, I said we could have takeout if I collect, so top price £11, I am getting so good at this now, and really looking forward to my chow mein. I am hoping for a NSD tomorrow, but won't declare until I know for sure:money:
Gobsmacked as well, said I would bake for an event on Sunday, thought about 25 people, had phone call tonight and told plan for 60!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nearly fainted, will be busy baking on Saturday, but as oven on will bake and freeze for us as well, so something good will come of it:TSealed pot (who knows?)
All debts paid in 2013 :T, apart from overdraft, now to tackle that:)

I had to do some spending on Monday which wasn't in my plan but remembered the rule that there is no F..l word:D and i felt much better. I bought a kettle with £20 Argos voucher then bought 2 packets of sweets for DH. I bought him M and Ms for valentines day. Last of the big spenders here.

Helloooooo Wembley..... oops sorry, getting carried away there
Well I can confirm that lasagne cooked last night is blinkin lovely - nom nom nom, white sauce prob better not reheated but I don't care - it's yummy. also had choc cupcakes I had bought for yesterday but which neither of us fancied.
Had a very MSE day, sorted out BB and phone line swtich to Sky - saving nearly £200 a year  guess there will be some overlap of cost between the BB as current provider doesn't end for 30 days and Sky starts next week, but current provider is so carp I don't really care (current router keeps dropping out)
Also...NSD # 8 :j just 6 to go ...omg how many days left to get those...eeek not many..... Going to grab some cheap laundry stuff in tacto tomorrow before coupons run out, and could use kitty food so will be a spend day then but hoping to clock up a good few more before the end of the month (esp as car tax is due) Still considering the two tops I was looking at last night, if I order it will have to be tomorrow before the code for one runs out.... oh decisions decisions....

and today takes me to #9 :T
I've also managed 4 in a row for the first time this year, but that's only because I'm on a 2 month break from my council tax (it would normally have gone out of my account today)
Last month my CT went out on 16th (due to 15th being a Sunday), and my next D/Debit wasn't until 26th - so all I have to do now is keep my purse firmly shut and I should be able to clock up a few more NSDs in the next 10 days. I'll almost certainly need milk (and possibly some fresh veg), but given how close I am to my grocery challenge budget for this month I need to be buying as little as possible and using up meals I've already batch-cooked.
I'll also need to fill my fuel tank on Saturday (or shortly after) as I'm doing a return trip to DDs to collect GD3 on Friday - and then another return trip to take her home on Saturday. But even that's not bad news, as it'll be my first fill up since 30th Dec and I also have a 10p/litre off voucher that's valid until 24th
Saturday should be interesting though..... my chap was excited about spending some time with GD3 (he loves young kids, used to help out with his - now fairly grown-up - nephews, and adores his young niece), and sulked when he realised I only have her for Friday night and would have taken her home before his normal Saturday arrival time. So he's coming over on Friday (straight from work) instead, and has already told me he's having at least half the cuddles from her(Perhaps I should let him deal with night feeds, as I suspect that's the one aspect of dealing with a baby he's not encountered before
) On Saturday I need to nip down to 'work' (I still refer to the local Mr M as that), so it'll be the 3 of us heading down..... him, me and a 3.5 week old baby!!! Most visits down there I seem to bump into someone who doesn't realise I've left, so heaven knows what the assumptions will be if there's another one on duty on Saturday :rotfl:
