jinty - sorry you're feeling poorly, hope you're on the mend soon

marmite - to your carp day at work and that horrible shouty person, some people need to get a life...

LMH - you do indeed have a lovely sis, please say hi to pipersky for me and tell her we miss her x

  • Hi everyone, thanks for all the good wishes .... unfortunately, it didn't go well:(. It was one of the sealed unit scanners and I just couldn't stay in it (rather embarrassing panic attack:o) pretty awful experience tbh and now have to be referred back to the hosp with the open ended scanner (don't know why they didn't send me there in the 1st place as I had one there the last time & the Dr knows I'm claustrophobic:mad:).

So ..... £12 in fuel, parking, train & bus fares down the drain .... totally exhausted & have a thumping headache so just a quick visit to catch up on threads & I'll be heading back to bed (where I've been since I got home at lunchtime).

Will catch up with all your posts tomorrow - hope all is well:)

    hi rising

im so sorry to hear that it didnt go well for you, and i agree with you about the fact they should have sent you for an open scanner not closed in. hope you are feeling better soon hun.

    Luv P
    xx
  • Good morning everyone!
    Chris81418 – A fantastic NSD #7 :Tand a Hall of Fame 7 in a row. :j That is blimmin’ brilliant. :)

Thanks LMH! :D And just popping in to report that I'm now up to NSD number 8 with another caught yesterday, which also means that I'm also up to 8 NSDs in-a-row! :j

Rising - sorry to hear that the scanning didn't go so well. Fingers crossed for you that all goes much better with the open scanner.

Marmite - sorry to hear about the shouty man in the park. I echo what Nora says - boo to him! I would have loved to have given him a run for his money on your behalf ... "So Mr Shouty Man, surely that would make anyone who sells a bird table complicit in your so called crime as they would be a de-facto accessory to your alleged crime; and whilst we're talking about crimes, an interesting fact is that disturbing the peace is an acutal crime. I bid you good day, and good bye!"

(((Hugs))) to both of you, and anyone else who needs them!

Keep wrapped up warm everyone! cold.gif

  • NSD #4 yesterday and 3 in a row! :j Went climbing but OH paid for cake this week - we take it in turns! Unfortunately it was a shoe demo evening which made me want a new pair of climbing shoes (which I've now found at a very reasonable price!) So not sure how long this run of NSDs will last!

    Unplanned spend day today :(

Chest infection confirmed, so £7.40 for a weeks worth of anti-biotics. GP gave the impression I'd caught it 'early' (only just coughing up coloured hard stuff in the mornings, rather than all day like last June & October), but I'm sure I only got the 250mg tablets last time and she's given me 500mg this time around which seems odd to me.......

Did consider not getting the prescription filled out until tomorrow in order to retain today as an NSD, but decided that was just plain stupidity !!!

As I've already spent, I'm now debating getting the bits I want from A!di and Mr M this afternoon/evening, rather then having to do a mad dash spin around both at 8am tomorrow (to be sure I can get from there before I hit Mr T after my gym session)
