Just popping by to report NSD #7 for Thursday (because I did the weekly shop on Wednesday).
B x0 -
Half an hour into Friday, and I had to come here to confess I've already spent money !!!
I've placed orders on no less than 3 websites..... 2 books from each of 2 sites (the 'for Dummies' books I was debating), and then some Safflower Oil (seems to be the thing to use in baking when controlling cholesterol) from another - but I also added some running nutrition items to that order as well. I need to be trying things out to see how my stomach copes with them in plenty of time before the marathon (and whether they help - not buying loads when they might not, as they're terribly expensive  ), and this site had some items that have been recommended available as singles (most places only sell by the box).
So that's just short of £80 gone - and I've not even been out to do the planned (huge for me) grocery shop yet !!! I think today is going to be the 2nd biggest spend day of the year so far for me, though it could just take top position by the time I get out of the supermarkets (probably will by the time I add on todays D/Debit, and definitely will do if I use the petrol discount voucher tomorrow instead of holding onto it until closer to the expiry date)The contender was last month, when I paid entry for 4 races on the same day as my council tax went out - as well as doing a Whoopsie hunt

Good Morning
Pleased to report that I managed NSD #6 yesterday :j
I have decided that because I got my euros for Disneyland last week then that will count as one spend and I won't be counting them as and when I spend them, which I had originally intended. That way, as long as I don't venture to a cash point while we are away, the weekend should be full of NSDs :T and hopefully, I'll bring some back with me (but I doubt it)

Yesterday was NSD #6 and 3 in a row
Today I'm heading for afternoon tea with a friend, but it's already paid for with a voucher. We're going to need money for parking, but I'm taking it from my change tin, so it's not a spend as such. Hopefully this will be another NSD!0 -
Not today as was out for a rather not nice lunch~what a waste of money
Oh no, I hate when that happens! Boo!:(marmiterulesok wrote: »I
I also got shouted at in the park on the way home by a man (when I was throwing bits of bread for the birds),saying that it's against the law to feed wild animals.I shouted back that I wasn't feeding animals but birds.I don't know if he's right...Breathe deeply marmite....
 :eek: That's awful Marmite - it's horrid when you're on the receiving end of that kind of behaviour and, of course, its not against the law to feed birds otherwise just about the whole nation would be locked up! Keep looking after our feathered pals!:Abutdoineedit? wrote: »
Number 5 today, did spend but only money out of my "treat jar" which is there as a reward for not smoking. I allow myself the amount of money one packet would have cost each week & tbh i rarely feel the need to use it, but this week is shaping up to be the week from hell at work. What i found really scary is i managed to get tea from the chippy & a mahoosive bar of chocolate on special offer for a quid that will probably last me till this time next week! & it still cost less than 1 pack of cigs
If i ever needed a reason not to start again, that has got to be it!!
Definitely! Choc beats fags anytime ( and I say that as an ex 40-a-day puffer!);)

Good morning all!
Well, I am struggling a bit with the NSD's this week!
Was back at work on Wed - feeling better, but I had managed to get a doc's appt on the afternoon so I left at 12.
Had a good chat with doc, got things documented there too, so that is a good back-up if things continue as they have been lately.
Anyhoo, Wed was bonus day pay out , and my major treat was a new moisturiser from Cliniqu€, lovely!
I sold all my fleabay stuff - made £40 so ended Wed in profit - NSD #4
Yesterday I got my weekly shop and a a nice jumper in a$da, so no major spends.
Went to WW - lost another pound although I am meant to be maintaining!
Spent the rest of the day making chilli and soup for the freezer as I got a load of whoops veg for 30p!! Made four portions of veggie chilli(with Quorn I already had and four portions of soup:money:
Today I have Zumba, and then dentist this afternoon.
We will have a spendy weekend as we are off to look for a new/old car for OH. Our beloved Bertha (an old Saab) is too costly on petrol as OH has to travel a bit for work, so we really need a decent runner,
Anyone know of a good second hand car, economical etc @ £800 LOL!!Not much to ask eh?:rotfl:
Have a lovely day everyone!:)
