Poppy_Golightly wrote: »Just discovered this wonderful thread and though I'm a bit late I want to do my bit. So - will start at the deep end and go for 15 No Squander Days.
I've just been cramming more magazines and stash fabric into my already full cupboards and stepping back and looking at it all it hit me - I don't need to buy anything more to make, what I have will keep me going for many many years to come.
Where I might fall down is my daily coffee out, time to resurrect the flask methinks!! And - stay out of charity shops!
Anyway that's it - 15 days - gulp!
:hello:Hi Poppy and welcome to the NSD thread - I love your renaming of it, maybe we'll try that next month:D
I sympathise on the fabric stash, I was horrified at how much I had when I did a major clear out and declutter a couple of years ago, I'll be sending you lots of "you definitely do not need that" vibes:D
Freeby will welcome you officially tomorrow when she does the update and I'll add you to the front page. In the meantime, pull up a chair, make yourself at home and join in the chat. We're a friendly bunch and don't usualy bite - unless we haven't been fed of course:)
Good luck with getting your 15, you can do it.

Well done Jinty on reaching your target.
Thanks to allfor get well wishes for DS. He gets his staples out on Tuesday, but in the meantime he has his bed set up in the living room and he has us all at his beck and call. He's really lapping it up!
Thanks Froddo - glad DS is on the mend, he's had a rough time!Jinty~Have you got a Pandora?
I was at Tillicoutry M & S outlet last weekend but no jeans that cheap Im afraid so go you
Rising~Hope you got my PM?
Thanks for the update freebyfifty
Hey Beanie - didnt realise Tillicoutry had a M&S outlet - it's years since I've been there. Used to like a wee day out there! ( Hmm, thinks of plan to go sometime.........)
My bracelet is a Link$ of London - OH got me it for Christmas and I really love it!
Hope you're feeling ok and your cold hasnt come to anything.
Jinty - forgot to say yesterday, don't you go blaming me for your ventures into TKM
Heh, heh :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Declaring NSD #3 as well :jand 3 in a row  I did buy a Groupon deal to have the oven cleaned, £20 down from £50 (it was something I was planning to get done anyway and cheapest quote I got locally was £45) but I will take that from the house account....as it it rather a household cost.
I want to get that done - that's a really good deal! OH has been "threatening" to do ours for month's as he thinks £50 to clean an oven is outrageous! I'm off to investigate!
I need to head out tomorrow to get some lunch stuff for the week (hope the roads are ok) wombling will be rubbish with this snowin a way I'm thinking I should have gone today but too late now.
Pud curled up next to me snoozing, considering getting her a radiator bed - does anyone else have one and are they any good?

Good morning folks!
Had a lovely day yesterday - a bit of shopping as planned. Got bird food for my feathered chums, and a lovely champagne bottle charm for bracelet!
Sadly no NSD as I paid for the bird food and a new toy for pooch.
Lunch at Mum's was a good laugh, then had a walk with dog ( freezing) and Chinese last night. Watched the Gerry Rafferty tribute concert on $ky+, which I really enjoyed.
Today I have church this morning followed by a lunch at a pal's. She makes a huge pot of soup and bread and we all just get stuck in for a good old blether!
I am also going for a massage later - I go to our local college and it's £20 for a full hour of heaven! OH is swinging for this - he doesnt know it yet -
I'm about to plunder his bank account!
I cant wait for this as my neck and shoulders are stiff as anything - maybe something to do with work stress????? :rotfl:
Have a great day everyone - you all really cheer me up!
