Today ended up a spendy day as I decided to get some more birdfood.I don't want to run out during this cold spell.
Slight improvement in the weather:this morning it was -15° and now it's -12°.The wind seems to have died down a bit.I've filled the bird trays four times today.I also got a big loaf for all the carrion crows in the park (probably about fifty or more).I don't know what they feed on in freezing weather.
I also got some bread flour.I'm going to make crumpets tomorrow-first attempt.:D
freeby great update,thanks!:T

Just discovered this wonderful thread and though I'm a bit late I want to do my bit. So - will start at the deep end and go for 15 No Squander Days.
I've just been cramming more magazines and stash fabric into my already full cupboards and stepping back and looking at it all it hit me - I don't need to buy anything more to make, what I have will keep me going for many many years to come.
Where I might fall down is my daily coffee out, time to resurrect the flask methinks!! And - stay out of charity shops!
Anyway that's it - 15 days - gulp!Flowers are sunshine for the soul0
