Kippers are lovely, marmite. The ones I keep threatening everyone with aren't quite so lovely though, they're getting a bit ancient, are extremely pongy and keep trying to walk:eek:. I've got them stored outside now, can't bear the smell any longer :rotfl:marmiterulesok wrote: »It's -14°c and that's not factoring in the windchill factor. Here they call it 'un froid de canard' and it's set to continue.:eek:I've been putting out lots and lots of birdfood and water (except it freezes). In fact birdfood is the one thing that I might run out of.
I remember it well, I've been to Switzerland on business in winter and thought I was going to die it was so cold. I really don't envy you one bit, everyone always thinks it's cold in the UK but it's nothing compared to the rest of Europe. Stay warm and keep feeding the birds, they need all the friends they can get at the moment xKnitting_Nora wrote: »Ooo, I love the Friday wiggle - and these guys are sooo cute!

Good morning gang!
As predicted, no NSD yesterday but I did have a good day!
Went to dentist - I have a gum infection, so anti biotics and painkillers for me! I was thankful I'd managed to get an appt as I would not have liked to have this dragging on over the weekend.
Had a good old mooch in M&S outlet, where they had my favourite jeans for £6:eek: Well, it would have been rude not to buy at that price!
Also they had lots of costume jewellery at half price PLUS 342 so I got 2 necklaces and a "diamond" ring.
Spent £24 in there as also I treated OH to 3 bags of percy pig$ ( arent I nice?)
Got my mirror in TKM - perfect!
Wouldve like a bit more time in there, but I needed to get home for doglet.
Visited my tailor chum in the afternoon - so my clothes alterations are under way. Six pairs of trousers (all black) a pair of jeans and a skirt - it will be like having a new wardrobe when she's finished!
Today I am off to PAH to buy doglet some new toys as he is sadly lacking in that dept and OH is treating me to a new charm for my bracelet for getting to goal.
Mum is having a soup and sarnie lunch for my nieces today so I'm off down there later for a catch up!
Busy day ahead, but enjoyable! If I can persuade OH to get the wallet out, it should be an NSD too!;)
Have a brilliant day everyone -:):)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -
Good Morning,
As spoon promised (or threatened) I am doing the updates this weekend.:eek: Please be gentle with me, it’s my first one
The NSD’s are rolling in and everyone seems to be having a determined February
BDINI – NSD 2. Hope all goes well when you get your man in.
Beanielou – NSD 2. It’s cold in my corner of Scotland too but I think we’re going to be a little bit milder than England – which makes a change
Blindtoast - Hooray for sneaky NSDs Number 1 in the bag and loads more to come. :T
Broomstick – Well done for number 1 (oh that rhymes). Keep going, they’ll come flooding in now – and so they did – NSD 2 bagged as well :j
Butti – Yay you are off the mark with NSD 1, watch them come rolling in now. :T

Jaffacakegal – Brilliant news about NSD 1. Hope your funny mood has disappeared and you feel better

Katy721 – Woo hoo to number 2. :j Did you stay strong and stay in????

LMH – Number 2 for you too. I am such a novice at this compared to you spoon and BDINI. Hope you won’t sack me
Marmiterulesok – NSD 2 for you and I’m not surprised. I wouldn’t be going very far if it was -14 here either
