Not a NSD today as had Chinese takeaway for dinner. However, did persuade OH and DS to chip in some cash towards it as it was their idea.
At work tomorrow (frosty start but should miss all the snow as will be indoors for 12 hours) so expect next NSD to fall in the bag.One life - your life - live it!0 -

Gutted. When I picked dd up from school today she showed me that she had a huge hole in the sole of her boot. I'd already decided that both kids needed new shoes this weekend anyway, but as we're expecting snow tomorrow I thought that she couldn't wait so we went shopping on the way home from work. I spent £40 on shoes for the kids, plus just over a fiver on cider for me. And I have a spendy day tomorrow as I have to go and get meat for the month. Sunday desperately needs to be a nsd. I can't have 4 spendy days in a row, I'll be devastated.Ninja Saving Turtle0

another NSDer reporting in with #2 :T
tomorrow won't be though - DD phoned yesterday asking if I'd sponsor elder 2 GDs for a fun run that was taking place today, so I have to cough up £2 for that while we're visiting in the afternoon...... at the moment that's the only planned spend for the day !!Cheryl0 -
Have managed to bag NSD 1 & 2 over the past 2 days. The 1st of the month is always my main DD day, though I think next month I may not count DD's as they are all essential bills - mortgage etc. Will have a think about it over the next few weeks and decide!0

Failed miserably with January's challenge, only managed about 10 in the end I think.
So I am going to have another go this month....Please can you put me down for 10 and that way if I go over it will be a bonus.
One down already and 9 to go.
Thanks xx
Noooooo!!!!!!Not the f-word!!!!I think that there'll be a few choice rancid kippers heading your way.....Just think of it as a hiccup. Not reaching your goal, that is,not the kippers....Personally I don't see why kippers have such a bad press.I would probably eat them if I wasn't a vegetarian.:D
I can't believe how many pages I have to read.I might have to leave it til tomorrow to catch up.
Got #2 today.I might try and get my 4-in-a-row this weekend.
It's -14°c and that's not factoring in the windchill factor. Here they call it 'un froid de canard' and it's set to continue.:eek:I've been putting out lots and lots of birdfood and water (except it freezes). In fact birdfood is the one thing that I might run out of.
Lots of posts I'd like to reply to,but bed beckons.
jinty well done on reaching your goal!0 -
