    Good morning everyone

I can't believe how fast this month has whizzed by:eek: It doesn't seem five minutes since I was putting last months total in.
Anyway for Feb I have managed 15 NSDs ( 1 over my target of 14 so not too bad)
I hope everyone has had a good month and have an even better March

And my final D/Debit of the month has gone out today - meaning I've lost the last 3 days of the month to these little blighters !!!
I'll also lose tomorrow to the first of them for March - so that'll be 4:0 to D/Debits ;)

As such my final count for Feb is the 18 I've already declared..... 1 shy of last month, but given the month was 2 days shorter I'm quite happy with that (even though I only got it 'cos I didn't have a council tax d/debit in Feb ;) )

Yesterday would have been a spend day even without the D/Debit though!! I finished the antibiotics for my chest infection almost 2 weeks ago, and started having problems again last Thursday :o Saw GP again yesterday morning, and she's decided it's "likely" I have exercise induced asthma (if it's not that she 'supposes' I could have a viral infection!!).

So I had to pay for another prescription, and now have a Vent0lin inhaler to be used every day regardless of whether or not I feel like I need it (or plan to exercise) as EIA is apparently treated differently to 'normal' asthma. I've no personal history of asthma, but one of my maternal uncles could bring on an attack to avoid rugby at school, my youngest had it as a child (diagnosed at 2 or 3, but hasn't needed an inhaler since he was 10), my elder son had a major attack when we were in France when he was 8 (fortunately I recognised it for what it was when he couldn't breath at 2am, so dosed him up on his brother's inhaler until we could get to a doctor) and my daughter was diagnosed with it a couple of years ago

As my training has been almost non-existant this month and I don't know how long it'll take me to build back up (depends on how accurate the diagnosis is and how the meds work) I've decided it's not safe/wise to do the Manchester Marathon - so yesterday I applied for a deferral to next year (I believe the cut off for applying for one is today, so the timing could have been a lot worse). It'll cost me £5 for doing that, but it's cheaper than losing this years money by just not turning up and then paying in full again for next year :) Means I won't be applying to do London next year, as doing 2 in 2 weeks isn't practical - so that's something to aim for the year after.....

I won't be getting another NSD today.

Mr F surprised me with gig tickets for tonight, but it's in Newcastle (we're in Edinburgh!!) so we're driving down when I finish work this afternoon. I am going to have to buy food for the trip as we won't have time for dinner anywhere, and I plan to buy a t-shirt souvenir too :D
  • Nora - you can have the keys to the Tardis as you'll be cleaning up on Thursday, I'll leave them under the large gnome in the garden if that's OK:D

See you all tomorrow, I can't wait for the sprout curry and prune schnapps tomorrow night:rotfl:

    spoon xx

Cheers - though let's keep the donkey away from the gnome this time, as it's just no fun having to dig through piles of donkey poo to get to it!

oOOOooo *sprints off to check polyfiller stocks after the last 'tardis parked in a wall' adventure* hmmm, bit low. Try and avoid walls if you can...

In the meantime, thanks ever so for being a fab wrangler of NSDs, Spoon *hands over big bunch of flowers* you've been a wonder-star.

Yesterday turned into a spendy day due to DS1 needing new school shoes and today has already turned into an unexpected spendy day due to a bus ticket:cool: so my final total for Febraury is

Total NSDs for Febraury 13 so 3 away from my target but good all the same.

Looking forward to achieving more on March:j

I know it's early but my day is planned out and I am not spending a bean today. so that's 12 luvverly NSDs and February's target achieved for me!

Nora - DT is staying for the party tonight. He doesn't know it yet, but the handcuffs are not coming off until after midnight and then he takes his chances fighting his way out of the party. Did I tell you, there's a marquee rigged up on the back lawn of Chateau Nargle. loads of haybales to sit on (I said "SIT", Hubert, not....oh, never mind, pass me the shovel, Igor...), the piggy roast is being cooked slowly over the afternoon, the band are currently rehearsing (hear them banjoes go!), Spoon's leaving cake is now iced and finished after a few heated words with Igor about how to spell "Spoon" (you don't want to hear what his first version was, honestly!) and I am now going to put my face on and get into my glad rags. Yes, I know it's hours away yet, but you can't rush a work of art......
