Dashing in to announce #16!
I should reach my target tomorrow.:)0 -
Evening everyone! Been awol for a couple of days and sadly can't declare any more NSD - yesterday I stocked up on some fruit and veg from the market (£5.50 for bananas, apples, strawberries and some spinich) and also indulged in a Dine in for £10..which we've just had and was worth every penny
We also went to a gig last night (tickets bought for OH b'day) and it's not easy to get to other than by taxi, but it was a great night and worth the spend. Oh yes...and I got tickets to the Olympic Closing Concert - I'm so excited as my fav band of all time is playing and my friend from Oz (whom I spent lots of my youth seeing said band) is back at the same time...so we're going together :j:j:j:j
Today wasn't a NSD - popped out to the Big T to get some cleaning stuff...and left my coupons at home  did get some rather gorgeous new sunglasses on TKM for £15 (which is better than the others I was looking at in there which were £30) and bought some coral coloured skinny jeans from primarn- unfortunately these are going back as there's skinny and skinnyI am hoping that i will find another pair in there in the same size that aren't quite so spray on (you know how their sizes vary)
Still on the no-choc wagon, actually doing ok atm.
Regarding kids books we re-read - I read Toms midnight garden not so long ago, and have read Goodnight Mr Tom more times than I can remember (makes me cry everytime now)
Beanie - just wanted to say sorry for your loss too xx
Rising - don't be so hard on yourself too, sometimes we all get a bit blue - I had a 'moment' missing our cat last night when we got home as that used to be one of our cuddle times...and he crossed rainbow bridge nearly 2 1/2 years ago -these things take time xx
wish me luck for the aerobics class i'm going to tomorrow, I'll need it after my Dine In dessert :rotfl:

Hello fellow NSDers
I have been feeling very down lately and not able to get on MSE which didn't help but I have managed
7 more NSDs which brings me up to 12 NSDs its going to be difficult to reach my target this month but I will be trying very hard to do so.
Haven't been able to catch up with this thread so (((((hugs))))) to everyone who needs/wants them.Success means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY. Johnny Cash

tbh most of my spends are planned ones but I still count the day as a spendy one ... may need to rethink things before March comes along.
No 14 today .....
I know it's still early but I've been out already (visit to local dogs home ..... now very, very down).
Having what is now called a "bad Ben day" - probably not helped as I'm still not feeling great but .....
Anyway, have made it home and doubt I'll be setting foot outside again.... OMG I need to pull myself together *shakes head and pootles off to try to find something constructive to do* Sorry all:o
Enjoy the rest of your day:)
Sending you hugs. I feel your pain I have really bad days and can't get used to having a dogless house. I really think that when I get home from staying with my Dad in Oz, I will start visiting Dogs Trust wth the hope of adopting one of their dogs.
Hope you too can fing a new companion soon. Frodo x.DFW Nerd 1394.

Well, I've not done very well at this so I'll try starting afresh next month. I've had plenty of NSD's but I've been too busy to record them so I've forgotten how many :doh:SteffieLou

Hiya,
Long afternoon in town but ate a massive bowl of porridge before I went out (I think porridge is my secret weapon in terms of not buying food when out!) and had a bottle of water etc with me. I also had free parking in the garage I can use in town so used that and had a longer walk to the place I had to get to (which was probably very good for me).
All of this means NSD#20 achieved today.
Tomorrow is another long day out with yet more packed lunches. I hope we have enough to see us through. We still have enough fuel in the car so don't need to spend there.

hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
although i didnt have an nsd yesterday i am still really pleased with my shopping. items that i bought that where on offer and i had vouchers for, should have cost me £44.79, but only cost me £2.54. also had a £5 off when you spend £40 that my mum gave me so that came off the rest of my shopping. plus i managed to get some reduced items so saved another £1.89, so in total i saved £51.68 feels great haha.
love to see the amount on the till going down lol
but i can confirm that today will be NSD 18.
Luv P
