I'm having a bit of a rubbish couple of weeks... I've lost my mojo - but I know that was down to half term, followed by one of the busiest weeks I can ever remember. I've not been all flylady at all, and a couple of sneaky spends have wormed their way in. Although, I didn't go to the shop tonight and I was very close to doing it.
I really need to prioritise getting back on the bandwagon mse wise. I've managed to shave a lot off my budgets in the past 3 months and it feels good, so I don't want to slip back into my old ways. Must aim to get on here every evening.
Anyway, I have managed to meet my target, collecting nsds 11 and 12 yesterday and today. YES!!! Not going to increase my target but hoping to sneak a couple more in before the end of the month...Ninja Saving Turtle0 -
NSD#19 and target reached. :j And that was despite an unplanned dash up to London this afternoon (with cold drink and snacks in the car and an almost full tank of fuel thanks to last Wednesday's top up!)
Can I set a new target for 23 days? We really can't spend any more money before the middle of next week.
Thanks

everyone seems to be doing really well with their targets
i can confirm today was my 17 NSD and i decided that my 70p spend on tuesday is not going to be counted because i had made money on amazon, which went into my bank account, so that means i also made my target for 5 DAYS IN A ROW , it feels like im cheating myself but it was money i wouldnt have otherwise had if you get me.
hope you all have agood weekend
((((((((((((hugs)))))))))) to those who need them
Luv P

Good morning folks:j,
I've not been around for a few days, as work has been very busy. Have so far resisted the wine, but it's early days yet:mad:. Declaring NSDs 17 & 18 for thursday and friday and 2nd target reached:T
I hope everyone is well and getting ready to enjoy the weekend. I've no major plans, but will just take it easy:D
Just been catching up on the posts. Beanie, I am so sorry for you loss and am sending hugs.If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

wow! I'm impressed Red... at least I chose something easy to give up :rotfl::rotfl:I think the hardest thing for me (apart from wine, and choc) would be tea.... given I have prob at least 8 cups a day. I find it hard enough when I travel to Asia and can't get a decent cup for a week (yes, would you believe that for all the tea in china, the starbucks near our office doesn't have english breakfast tea :rotfl:)
So... I'm doing choc, Red is doing wine (give or take a few days)...anyone else joining us on the lent bus?
Don't be too impressed just yet kerri, as there is a long way to go:mad:. I think everyone I know laughed themselves silly when I said I was going to give it up. We had our job evaluation appeal yesterday in work and something that should have lasted 2 hours took around 5:eek:. One colleague who always observes lent and quits alcohol text me last night to inform me he was having a few drinks. We'll see how it goes, although it will do me no harm to give it a go.
LMH, I hope you don't miss the sugar too much and we can all overindulge again soon enough anyway.
Red:)If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
