A fantastic February with the NSD challenge

definitely not an NSD for me today......
Personal Trainer paid for another 10 weeks (starting next week)
A few bits picked up in B'n'M
Some fruit and veg picked up in Mr T
Some more veg picked up in Mr M (whoopsies)
Potatoes (and a couple of small kitchen gadgets) picked up in A!di
And postage paid to return one of the books I ordered earlier this month to a Pl@ytrader!! I paid substantially more for the book that I'd needed to as I wanted the UK verion rather than the US one. the detail page said this one had a UK publisher, but when I opened the book on Wednesday it was to discover it's the US version  I'm expecting a fight to get the postage refunded now - not bothered about the extra to send it recorded, but expect to get the just under £3 it would have otherwise cost as the book "wasn't as advertised" (so isn't a case of me changing my mind)
Now off to Am@z0n to order a UK version (they've even obliged by reducing the price of it since I was last looking), but I'm also considering picking up another dummy guide (or 2) while I'm there

I know it's still early, but its #8 for me. Couldn't face going out again even if I wanted to! And tonight I'm babysitting so that'll keep me out of trouble.
Tomorrow will be spendy, but hoping to nab the last one on sunday! Have a good weekend everyone, keep wiggling!:DMake £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

Pleased to annonce that today is #15.
I was really tempted to get some sturdy supports for my gorgeous framed Tube map,but decided to get it next week.I've had too many spendy days this week.
Hopefully I'll manage an NSD weekend.
Have a great weekend fellow NSDers.I'm working;hope it'll be quiet...0 -
Thank goodness it's Friday .... thought the week was never going to end:o
Think it will be a very quiet weekend - have sneezed for the last 3 hours so think a horrid cold's on it's way (my colleague who sits next to me is choked with it) which could be why I've been feeling "off" the past few days ......:(
Popped into the Co*op for a couple of bits and spied a huge bit of beef reduced from £12.80 to £2 :j (doesn't happen very often in ours - they had piles of stuff still to reduce but don't think I can face going out again ...) so will be having that for dinner!:T
Have a great weekend everyone:)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

NSD 12 yesterday.
I remembered another Enid Blyton thing! I used to LOVE The Naughtiest Girl in the School!! Definitely my favourite! Oh and I know they're not Enid Blyton but Milly Molly Mandy, and The Worst Witch were also good

I remember the naughtiest girl in the school. But I loved the famous five soooo much especially the Islandones. It set me up for a fall though - I was bored rigid in the summer holidays.:p..no gypsies wandering into suburbia or landowning/island owning relatives of friends offering to have us all...:(...it was all disappointing! All of my books are at my Mums in the loft. Someone posted and said do I think it's sad that they still read them as an adult...HELL NO!!:D I would read mine if I could...truth is my Mum already thinks I'm childish so if asked for those back she would probably have me locked up!:rotfl:rising_from_the_ashes wrote: »Thanks for all the good wishes all .... feeling a bit better than yesterday (but not a lot) so very pleased that it's the end of the day and then Friday tomorrow - thinking it may be a very quiet weekend!
Managed No 13 and 4 in a row today .....
Have a great evening all
Glad you are feeling better rising ...small steps and all that! :T
We are also having a quiet weekend. I have lots to do courework will not do itself and I have a presentation to put together.
Also we are on our second full month of income reduced by 2/3...:eek: as it is payday today so being busy indoors is fortuitus for now! We really made some frugal inroads last month, cut our food budget down, reduced the mortgage, no unnecessary car journeys and spent far less than usual on food (but eaten really well!) So with some quiet weekends we may just manage to cope. Not heard anything about the contract yet  but we'll sit tight in the meantime (and not worry about the possibility having zero income from April onwards!:eek::eek:...somethjing will turn up!
NSD 13 today in any case. This is great I love having days where I can say I haven't spent a penny! I am making the famous Twinks biscuits this weekend I think! OH has just made mushroom, garlic and cheese ravioli's for tonight -YUM!!!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend,

Not sure if I should count today as a NSD or not....
I spent unplanned money, but it was a charity day at work, so I spent £5 on various things such as bingo and a tombola (and came home with a bottle of wine, woo!) which was for the Cystic Fybrosis Trust. I absolutely don't grudge spending the money for charity, and wouldn't if I couldn't afford it.
So....
Spend or not?

10 NSDs now in the bag!
Now starting a few days' rest to recover from an intensive few days at work. Trouble is, there's spring cleaning, decluttering, meal planning, trips to DS school to plan GCSE options, academic carp (and no, I don't mean a goldfish with a BSc), garden tidy up.....rest? What manner of strange entity is that?
Should get another NSD this weekend. Hopefully. One life - your life - live it!0
