Evening all,
I've managed to get #14 plus 4-in-a-row again!:j:j A good feeling after a dire day at work.So pleased to be off tomorrow to recharge.
I was supposed to pick up a prescription today, but I'll get it tomorrow,as I'll probably get some groceries too.
Thanks for the update spoon.0 -
Well, a bit of food shopping today and topping up with motion lotion. Spending also forecast for tomorrow. Wednesday, however, looks very promising, seeing as I am on nights tomorrow for the next 3 nights and will have no chance of getting into mischief of the fiscal kind.
Started sowing a few lettuce seeds in a container on the kitchen window sill. That is my first tentative effort towards sorting the garden out. I think, however, I will wait till the wind and the wet and the brass monkeys disappear before venturing out with a spade.

Evening all!
Cheryl - sounds like you had a lovely weekend and chap sounds like a gem x
Jinty - glad you're enjoying your kindle, I know what you mean about thinking about the books you pay for. I'm currently reading a series by Bill Rogers - quite good if you're into crime/thriller?
mytimetoshine - well done on the coffee maker purchase :T Try shopping for whoosies at a different time if poss - it was last week when I hit bingo at A, on a Monday lunchtime. Didnt' go back over today (no room in freezer still) but I have a hunch that they might do that regually - that way they get to shift full price to those going in on Sunday hoping for a bargain.
Well not a NSD for me. Needed to get rolls for OH lunches as he's not that keen on furry bread  (can't think why not :rotfl:) so got some ham and chicken slices (two packs for £4 as I try to get outdoor bred pork and british chicken) oh and some more laundry stuff as I had coupons (rude not to)
I did call up to see how my clothes were going in that store that sells them...only one item sold so farbut it's 4 weeks since opening on Sat and they reduce items that haven't sold by 50% after 4 weeks so the lady thinks a lot of folks are waiting for that. Bit torn about not wanting some things to be reduced (I could go and get them) but then, they will just be sat in my wardrobe so seems a bit daft.
Oh, but on the upside, one of my APG wombles from yesterday...£8.80!!! one of the best yet :j
Popped in on my mummy tonight, poor thing had a car bump on Fri - nothing serious and she's doing the 'oh I don't care, it's just another thing to sort out' but I know she's just covering....might have to deliver her some nice flowers this week to cheer her upFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Ohhh, knew there was something I meant to say earlier. Re; the talk about seasons. I don't think i have a fav one as such, though I do love Autumn as I love the run up to Christmas, with Haloween, Guy Fawkes, crisp autumn days and the leaves falling.
What I do love though is the change in seasons, it always feels so hopeful no matter which season is changing - it's like the anticipation of a whole new season of possibilites, like watching the bulbs peep through and the birds start chattering when spring is coming, or the heat of the sun and smell of warm earth when summer is new, or the leaves falling and berrys on the bushes for autumn, and the weakening winter sun sitting low in the sky, the smell of bonfires and frosty mornings heralding winter.
...or have I been reading too much Enid Blyton?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
