re: loving the season that holds your birthday - not meI'm a January baby and I hate the winter months !!
re: Enid Blyton books - loved them as a child (yes I remember Mr Pinkwhistle), and loved getting to read them again when my daughter reached the right agewasn't happy that neither lad ever showed an interest in them, losing me 2 more chances to re-read them
elder GD will be 9 this August, so I must dig them back out again

Hi all, unfortunately, had to spend both yesterday and today. On the same blooming thing! DH needed some mesh to put round the garden so the pups can't dig their way out. They are both in season at the moment so we have to watch them like hawks. If ever they 'got caught' we would never be able to give any offspring away, we are potty about them, and we just can't afford that. We're saving up to have them spayed. Such a shame but necessary.
Rising and Arrowlili, hope you both feel better soon.
Hugs to all who need one.S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50

Re: Enid Blyton books, I have 2 bookshelves full and they are mine all mine!
I love the Adventure, Secret Island, and 5 Findouters and dog series. I actually have some first edition hardbacks from when I was a kid. That was my special treat back then, wasn't bothered with toys, just books.
Am I sad because I still like reading them?S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50
