end of contract question

Unless it's a fixed term contract, yes, it carries on, though Orange are quite entitled to raise the price.
However the call rate on that tariff will be eye-wateringly high, I think there was an old Orange one like that that charged about 35p per minute?
Technically though, the contract was voided anyway on the death of the account holder.
sorry i should have been more clear. The contract is in my name and the family member would use the phone and the minutes then give me the money,
The contract was for 2 years. At the end of that time, will it revert back to the original £15 a month or continue at the rate im paying just nowSave £300 in Jan £515/£300-Lose 10 lbs in Jan- 8/10,Cap One M/C £0/£200,Cap One Visa £0/£200

If it was offered at a 'special price' for two years then it will revert to the original price presumably.
It would help if you named the tariff and provider, why all the mystery?
Mobile contracts are not for two years, they are never fixed term contracts. The minmum term may be two years at the discount price-is that what you are saying? No free lunch, and no free laptop

there's no mystery. its with t-mobile, was for 2 years, the original price was £15 but had a loyalty discount of £5
so it was in total £10 per month.
as a goodwill gesture, when the family member passed, t-mobile reduced it so only the vat was being paid.
what i want to know is will it continue at the £0.18 or go back to a tennerSave £300 in Jan £515/£300-Lose 10 lbs in Jan- 8/10,Cap One M/C £0/£200,Cap One Visa £0/£200

I think you'll have to ask T-mobile that...it will depend what the terms of the goodwil discount were.
But I'm struggling to understand why, if it was actually your contract, they would give a discount when your relative died? The fact that they has been using your phone would be irrelevant to them.No free lunch, and no free laptop

VAT on £10 is £1.80, not £0.18 (£1.49 if £10 includes VAT at 17.5%).hadahardyear wrote: »...

If this 'goodwill' gesture were true, everyone would be trying it, so clearly more to it than meets the eye.No free lunch, and no free laptop
