end of contract question

hi there,
just looking for some advice.

I have 4 lines with t-mobile as detailed below

1) £30.62 iphone 4 (unltd mins, text and internet)
2) £10 Nokia contract (100 mins, text and internet)
3) £0, 300 mins, unltd text and internet (sim only)
4) £0.18 , 100 mins, unltd text and internet (sim only)

What i would like to know is, regarding lines number 3 and 4, which will finish at the end of the year, what will happen if I don't phone to upgrade or renew these.
Will they continue at that price or be cancelled?
Anyone have any idea?
thanks a lot

They will continue as a 30 day rolling contract in other words you must give 30 days notice at the end of your contract if you want to leave.

thanks for your advice, i think what im confused about, is that the second 2 lines are obviously really discounted lines, will they continue at that price or will they be bumped up to the normal price/

You must know better about the T&C of the special offers.
We know only that contracts don't end unless you cancel them.

Do £0 and £0.18 really mean the monthly prices?
  • im not really sure if they will be bumped up to the regular prices. thats what id like to know.

    How can i check?

Yes the £0 and the £0.18 are the monthly prices x

I would think they would go back to the proper price

T-Mobile do a lot of offers that only last 1yr and then unless you ring them will go up

Does it not show up when you log-in to your T-Mobile account?

I would ring them and ask that's the best idea.

May be wait until you get a bit closer to the time of renew and then ring and ask i think that's the only way you will find out to be honest.

  • looking for a bit of advice.
I know a mobile contract just carries on after the minimum term if you don't cancel it, and carries on at the same price but would this apply to me?

I have a contract (i think ive mentioned this before) for £0.18 a month (this was due to a family member who died, the contract was for him but now his wife uses it until the end of January next year)

What will happen in a case like that?
    many thanks

Unless it's a fixed term contract, yes, it carries on, though the provider is quite entitled to raise the price.
However the call rate on that tariff will be eye-wateringly high, I think there was an old Orange one like that that charged about 35p per minute?
Technically though, the contract was voided anyway on the death of the account holder.
