• Good morning :D

DH came home carrying a sack of dog food (it was too heavy for me to get with the rest of the shopping) :T He has run himself a bath, so I asked if he could clean the bathroom while he was in there ;) I did the downstairs toilet & basin yesterday :)

I need to pop to the bank & pay in some art money. I also need to get into the habit of paying in at least every other week, as I shouldn't that much cash lying around (especially as it isn't mine!) I need change bags as I have about £120 in £1 coins

I have booked myself on a course, and done an invoice (need to email). I now need to book the hotel for the conference at the end of Feb, and phone environmental health. Off I go to the bank :)

I was unable to sleep so got up early and did what I could. I leave things where reaching is involved to someone else. Brilliant idea to get DH to clean the bath, Goodintentions, whilst he was there. I must suggest it to DS1 as he is usually the one who has baths.

I need to find my list for the week.

• I'm in this week too.

I did all my ironing last night :D & packed up the ebay bits that sold over the weekend - well those who could be bothered to pay

DS is getting a lift home from his after school club tonight so I should be able to get on with the list earlier than usual today.

3 washloads done - the last one has just gone in!

DS got an extra hour in bed - the bloke he works for phoned to say that his kids were ill so he they would be working at his house today (bloke is extending his house) - this is good cos he gets to do all sorts!

DS was foul yesterday - king sized hangover and tiredness don't mix! And he still hasn't picked up all the clothes off his floor!:mad::mad:

Mind you a glance at OH's side of the bed revealed 2 of last weeks work shirts there - and I am NOT picking them up! I have a large washing basket on the landing - if 3 women can use it why can't the men?

And back to the ironing...

I so know how you feel but I find that if I do that it usually ends up in the utility room on one of my "days off" and I have to devote a day to feeding the w/m. DS1 is so lazy he bought 6 pairs of socks yesterday rather than pick up the dirty ones and put them in the washing basket.

Plan for this afternoon is to do 6 x HHC starting at 12 and finishing at 3:-

Kitchen & Dining room
Bathroom
Lunch :D
Living room
Hall Stairs Landing
Master bedroom

I'm leaving work now to go home and get on with it.

Hello everyone.:hello:

LW - I've put a HHP just so you can make sure you've got everything for CAMRA in a nice little box or carrier bag so you can just hand it over and say BYEE! Even though I know you're doing your own lists I thought you'd like that one.
Thanks for that; Yes, I'm all up to scratch. There's no physical stuff to hand over, but the Word document with all the planning applications info and the Excel sheet with all the National Beer Scoring Scheme figures for our patch have been duly updated and emailed to the current Chairman and Pubs Officer (we may have new ones after tonight, who knows?) together with the URLs needed to obtain this information. Mr LW also put a message on the e-list to say to everyone to not send me any more Beer Scores (some email them direct, some even send them by SMS to Mr LW's phone) but to hang onto them til tonight when we know who will be doing the job henceforth.

I know for a fact that the Secretary is standing down - reading between the lines, I think she's been as shabbily treated as I have - so the meeting may be ....interesting.... to say the least. I'm not looking forward to going, but at least this time it's in a pub with proper wheelchair access and a disabled loo. I still haven't forgotten the time they booked an upstairs room in a pub for the meeting - needless to say, it didn't have a lift!

It's my first week of Flying my own way, so my list for today looks thus:
Monday: Kitchen 30 Jan 12
Clean sink, draining board and drainer; check taps for limescale
Dettox surfaces, table, trolley and cupboard doors
Clean hob
Clean micro
Clean oven if needed
Check/clean fridge
Dust bookshelf, put duster-onna-stick round high areas
Clean behind radiator
Wipe tiles and window sill
Clean window + door glass if needed
Clean washing machine drawer if needed

Mr LW already did the tops of the cupboards and fridge/freezer at the weekend:A so they're all nice and clean - ooh, and I can delete the fridge cos I did it yesterday.;) I've spent quite a bit of time this morning giving the plastic plate-drainer a good scrub; we have very hard water, and it gets limescale deposits on, and was looking a bit sorry for itself. I must make sure to keep back enough spoons for tonight though - so a lot of the things on my list marked "if needed" won't be done today, methinks.;)

I'm still going to look at the lists as set here each day, in case there's something I've forgotten (can add it to the relevant room/day) or an Extra that I really need to do.:o
