Good morning ladies. Thank you for the list Julie.

Welcome back Polkadot and congratulations for your little family.

Good luck SW on your own this week. You seem to be in top of things so see it as a maintenance exercise.

I hope to get the little ones wardrobes started some time this week but need to track down DSS to have access to his van.

I'll retrieve my toots list later on. Now to get up and face the day.

Morning all, had such a busy week last week so never got a chance to get on. However i did get all the powerwashing done, it took 2 full days...

Then i got the livingroom/front hall and bathroom completely decluttered, cleaned and reorganised...:D My hope is to get the kitchen/our bedroom and boys bedroom done this week again completely decluttering, cleaned and reorganising..

Course this morning so i'm gonna spend HH going over it for my exam. I'm hoping Rhys is feeling better because he was so sick yesterday. Nothing stayed down until last night and he hasn't been sick through the night so hopefully he's getting better..
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Morning eveyone.

JulieJim - thanks for the thread:)

Have got to take the car today asap as the brakes went funny yesterday and the offside front is making a lovely squealing noise:eek: Shouldn't really need new brakepads yet so I think I have lost one - was on a long drive too so hope disk isn't too damaged:(

DS2 is having a day off school as he suffered a groin strain at rugby yesterday. Having done this myself a few years ago I know how difficult it makes climbing stairs, plus it's a mile to school and I can't take him, and he's got PE and they ignore letters saying he isn't fit to do it:mad: Saves me having to rant at them about this because it is getting beyond a joke.

Then this afternoon we have a funeral of DNieceIL's SDad. She didn't like him very much but he made her Mum happy and that is all that counts. We didn't know him very well but must go to support her Mum who is a lovely lady and has had more than her fair share of bad luck.

Somewhere in amongst all that I may get some part of the list done:D

morning all - i'm in again. Did quite well yesterday DH mended the printer someone had dropped a little ball of tinfoil (sweet wrapper) in the paper slot so it had wedged in the rollers and was jamming and not in a Bob Marley way either. He then blew out the modem and moved it onto the desk instead of under where its a dust magnet and he mended my oven door again the bottom hinge broken last weekend not sure how long it will last but im hoping at least 6 months as i want to get the kitchen retiled so dont want the expense of another cooker (will be keeping an eye on the local small ads just incase as thats where this one came from about 5 years ago)

    Hi all

Didn't post on Friday as had computer probs but managed to get a general tidy done for the weekend.

Feeling sorry for myself as full of cold today, so might not get much flying done, will probably spend the day hiding under a blanket on the sofa. If I get the washing up done and make dinner I'll consider it a success today!
  • 3 washloads done - the last one has just gone in!

DS got an extra hour in bed - the bloke he works for phoned to say that his kids were ill so he they would be working at his house today (bloke is extending his house) - this is good cos he gets to do all sorts!

DS was foul yesterday - king sized hangover and tiredness don't mix! And he still hasn't picked up all the clothes off his floor!:mad::mad:

Mind you a glance at OH's side of the bed revealed 2 of last weeks work shirts there - and I am NOT picking them up! I have a large washing basket on the landing - if 3 women can use it why can't the men?

    And back to the ironing...
