    Morning all

DS2&3 both off school with sore throats and coughs, so they are in bed. I've got a sore throat and earache myself but I'm up and at um, although not planning anything too strenuous.

Dailies almost done. Plan to do the 3 reception/study rooms and then the rest of the day doing paperwork.

I have ebay sales to pack and post too.

I'm with you on that Cyclingyorkie - my DH leaves his shirts by the side of the bed and it drives me mad. Also he flings his underwear at the basket (at the end of our bedroom) - if it goes in great, if not he just leaves it. Makes me :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Caz74 hope you feel better soon. Always horrid when a cold starts isn't it; wrap up and keep drinking hot drinks and don't forget your paracetamol!

MrsMoneypenny - you did do well yesterday! Don't envy you with 10 hours worth of ironing though. I like watching re-runs of ER on Sky Atlantic and tend to iron whilst that's on; fit Drs take my mind off what I'm doing ;)

Sazzyb - lucky you going to New York! How long are you going for?

Jackywhizz busy day for you too. Hope you get the brakes sorted and also the funeral goes as well as can be expected.

It's trying to snow here but I must stick with my promise to clean out the chooks :(. They all laid yesterday and DD and I made some lovely buns thanks to their efforts :)! The bathroom should be OK for me as did it yesterday but have lots of other stuff to do too:

    * Typing (got 1 job and another on the way)
    * Give DS his antibiotics at school at 1.00
    * Clean all the mirrors
    * Put away all Christmas stuff (still got cards on a top shelf that need to go into the loft and a few other bits and bobs on the drawers on the landing :o)
    * Bag up more stuff for CS tomorrow on the way to swimming
    * Check bank balance (sailing a bit close to the wind iykwim)
    * And of course turn the chicken coop into a 5 star luxury hotel!

Best get off my bum and get going ....

    Morning All,

After a year's absence, I am returning to regain control of house, and life. It spirlled out of control in spectacular fashion following a car accident. Now i'm back to good health I can think about the other areas of my life and bring them back to order. Well at least try to....lol

Morning all! :) Another returner -to-the-fold here :o - think I last was on here in Sept/ Oct maybe?:o Nice to hear of the new babies:)

My house is suffering at the mo and DH is extremely grumpy as a result so I really need to regain control over it. I've not even been swish and swiping regularly, so I'm adding that as an item to my list to make sure it gets done:o

I'm doing my bathroom in this bit - DD has her own ensuite and the 3 boys share a bathroom - they are responsible for cleaning their bathrooms on a weekend (although I empty the bins and change the boys towels - they'd use the same ones forever!!)

    Today's list:
    Monday - Bathroom & Study

    Level One
HHP - will get OH's expenses and invoicing up straight (going back to Oct:mad: if he ever gives me the base paperwork so I know what to charge and when!!) Other than that will get the charity I volunteer for's paperwork up straight and do 15 mins of my filing
    Clean bath, sink and toilet
    Swish and swipe cloak
    Level Two
    Clear and clean floor
    Empty bins
    Level Three
    Wipe down tiles
    HHC sorting desk
    Sort out bathroom cabinet
    Extras
    HHI x2
    Delete unwanted emails
WM x 1 or as needed - need to change sofa covers, so this will be min WM x2
    Put clean covers on sofas:)
Tidy airing cupboard - people are running out of pants and socks!:o
Tidy top of f/freezer - huge mess

Right - lots to do, so I'd best get on - back later when I've achieved some things :D

I have made my phone call about the tree-pruning, so that's one frog done, and also done some shredding so I have something to light the fire with tonight. I've been for a 2 mile walk, unloaded the DW and had breakfast. I've done LOTS of email filing and have now run out of excuses not to do some proper work, so I need to put the heating on (I can't manage without it if I'm at my desk all day), have a shower and put some washing on so I don't get behind.

Then deal with some outstanding work including preparing for a workshop I'm going to tomorrow evening :-)

Oh... and must get some logs in at some point, although I'll probably burn mostly coal this week while it's cold.

I did my first school run on my own with the three children. Thankfully, I use the teachers car park so I dont need to fight over parking and can leave the babies in the car whilst I walk DS1 to the gate.

Just been catching up on this thread and the second purse thread and then Ill get on with emails...my comping address has a few hundred emails:eek:. Once Ive done that I'll sort out the kitchen and check the list again:)
