Haven't been posting/reading as we've had a bit of a nightmare here. DH was admitted to hospital on Thursday with a suspected stroke, he was at work when it happened, so I've spent lots of time at the hospital, fortunately the brain scan was clear so it definitely wasn't a stroke so they also tested for a bleed to the brain and that's come back clear too, so he came home yesterday and he's resting - may be one of those things we may never know, but it really makes you take stock. I have to admit it's really scared me, DH is only 45 and I'm 42 - neither of us usually have any kind of particular health problems/issues so it's not the sort of thing you expect! The hospital were excellent and we can't grumble at all about their care at all, they were really thorough and looked after DH very well. They do an extremely difficult job in often challenging circumstances, they have our deepest thanks and gratitude.
How scary for you, hope your DH is on the mend now xx
Thinking of Diva today xx

nmlc - how scary, hope DH is on the mend now x
gintot - mmmmmm I love welsh cakes tooI've never actually made them myself, I've helped my nan loads as a kid but never as an adult. I really want some now!
I'm feeling a bit better now, not been sick since this morning, but still have the other part!Though it's calmed down now. I've literally spent all day in bed, napping on and off. I got up at 6pm and had a bath but that made me feel very lightheaded which was a bit scary
so I went back to bed still in towels with wet hair!
I've dragged myself out of bed now and am on sofa to watch Top Gear, but will be heading back to bed after it. Just attempting a small bowl of cereal to see if I can eat.

Evening everyone
Been mia again. Have been reading just dont seem to get time to post each day.
os today cleaned kitchen this morning after dh cooked(he is a good cook but makes so much mess). Did an hour of ironing too, but thats it.
Yesterday saw a fox in my garden, scared me as he appeared under the fence on my project veg patch. Whilst I have been clearing my little plot which was covered in brambles I found a hole in the ground between 2 old logs which appeared to be covered with old branches. I am now scared to go up there and dont know how to get rid of them out of the top end of the garden.
Thinking of Diva

Hello all!
Went out this afternoon to take great aunt a coat and shoes as she's being moved tomorrow, all was well when I left home, came home 2 hours later and OH has reverted into the most crabbit argumentative obnoxious butthead I have ever met..........
Bearing in mind I'm a tad hormonal just now it was cry or threaten diy surgery, he has gone to bed to moan as he felt he wasn't ready for castration just yet!!!!!!
OS wise have washed and dried loads, made an apple pie for pudding and cooked smoked haddock for dinner. Tomorrow will iron lots, and search for that wax effigy and the pins...............RIP Iain
