I didn't get on very well with AQA.
Despite being accepted at the application stage and spending hours doing my first 30 questions which I failed, I was given a further 20 to do and was then told I hadn't passed and missed out be a few percent.
I didn't like the lady who was my mentor as she was a bit of a meany. It wasn't just me that felt this either which I thought was quite bad!!.
I found the whole thing very stressful and by no means easy!!.
I am sorry to put a damp-ner on it and am really happy for those who did get in and got a nice mentor!!!

    Hi lang8er,

I did my first 30 questions today, hopefully I did ok, I ended up doing about 75% of the 'hard' questions so hopefully they will bear that in mind.

How long do they let you know after you submit the 1st 30 questions whether they are ok or not? I hate waiting!!

I applied then got an email a couple of days later saying I didn't get in. Some of the test questions were difficult to answer and others you just had to make up yourself. Would have loved to get accepted as money-wise it sounds really good but they do seem very strict on what they accept and don't.

Can anybody who does the AQA let me know what search sites they use. I have just received my questions and would like to have some particulary good sites saved to help before I start the process. Also they ask you to type how many minutes each question took you, how would they know if you were slightly economical with the truth?
  • I have my induction soon, I am really nervous, I really want to pass. If anyone has any advice that would be great :D

They don't know if you are beng economical with the truth, but when you do your 30 test questions, I guess it will be harder then, so probably best to stick to the 10 minute limit.

Sorry to ask so many questions but I don't know that much about AQA really only that people recommend it and some seem to be doing well with it. Is there a thread explaining it more does anybody know?
Also for my test there is only 12 questions but you mention 30 questions??

After you have done the 12 questions and are accepted you have to do 30 questions and have them reviewed before you are on your own.

I have just passed my 1st 30 questions and did well in my first review, but I am finding it very time consuming and really hope I will get quicker to be able to earn more money.
