Hi, read other threads but please - how easy is Aqa? What questions do they ask and how successful has anybody been?

  • Once you get going with AQA it is fairly easy, it can be time consuming initially but you definitely get quicker with practice. Questions range from train/bus times to ego texts asking 'Who is John Smith?'. They are very strict on their answer policies.
It's fairly easy to be making £100 - £200 per month answering questions for a few hours each evening and at weekends, which are the busiest times.
    Hope this helps.

To be fair, I think its easy to make more than £200 a month. On one good day I did £60. I average £40 a day at weekends and £10 to £20 during the week.

The test questions are straight forward, take your time and be sure to use punctuation, good grammar and spelling.

To be honest, I'd disagree that AQA is easy. I used to do it for about 18 months, and fair enough, some questions are easy and you do get better with practice, but I always found that working to a time limit was quite pressurised. I'm a perfectionist, and trying to get the answers done to the right standard was stressful.

I used to end up spending too long trying to answer the hardest questions, which was good exercise for the brain but not so good for my bank balance.

But I'd say it is enjoyable and challenging if you are the sort of person who likes searching out answers, doing crossword puzzles and other mental puzzles, and it is better paid than any other internet money-earning activity that I've taken part in.

I've emailed this company but as yet have had no reply does anybody know how long they take to reply?? I don't have a degree but I have nearly finished my diploma in counselling would that be suitable??
  • It depends if they are looking for people in the country you live in.

I've been with AQA since the very end of July and it has been a god send debt busting wise. My best month was £900 (nearly did myself in though as I already work full time!) and my lowest earning month was £400 when I had a big exam to revise for and also felt a bit under the weather.

Spelling, punctuation, grammar, length of answer and content are the key components to being accepted when you get the test questions.

no, you can be a stay at home Mum! lol

They require that you have a degree, I dont have one :)

oh I see, I think you are thinking of the teaching exam board. The AQA we are talking about is www.issuebits.com, not related to teaching at all!
