I forgot to add that my initial contact with CPW was yesterday when I spoke to a guy who made me the offer mentioned above. I asked him to call me back (big mistake) because I had the children with me and couldn't concentrate.

I didn't get a call so decided to call them again this evening. This time the girl I spoke to said all they could offer is £300 cashback. I made a big fuss and insisted on speaking to her manager. After a long wait listening to lift music she came back herself and said that they would honour the deal from yeaterday.

I just hope that I don't have difficulty getting them to honour this, shame it's not automatic cashback. But I guess that would just be asking too much!

but do you have to send your bills back to them to claim those cashbacks?

Whatever you get offered make sure you get it in an email, I got told the offer would be sent immediately once agreeing to the upgrade, needless to say 3 weeks later I'm still waiting, and yes the offer I got told over the phone turned out different to what I actually got.
Was offered SE850 12 month contract, 250 mins 100 txt, 2 x £75 auto cashback, but the clincher for the deal was an auto initial cashback of £90 which made the contract equilevent of £10 pm, unfortunately for me the £90 bit has been conveniently "forgotten" and there are no records of it ever having been given.
    This is still ongoing........yawn

I got an upgrade last year which was 'agreed' with loyalty.

Of course when it was processed incorrectly, it took 3 months to sort out. This period was littered with unreturned calls, broken promises and outright lies. The inference was always that I was wrong, but I eventually got it sorted after refusing to end the call until I got what I was promised.

So definitely get it in writing and even then be prepared if they still mess it up!
