  • Sorry I have no experience with freeview boxes.. Used to have a woolworths own brand one - it was terrible!

Right so i keep the main white coax cable in when i install the digital box !
In the SKY box yes, at her end plug the cable from SKY(in her bedroom) into the digital box input and the supplied fly lead into the TV (from the output from the freeview box) But first of all make sure that her TV has a SCART socket on it and that if the freeview box doesn't come with one buy one (you probably have a spare I had 9 at the last count :D)

  • :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: where is Leigh-on-Sea??? Essex ???. (about 7 years ago last time)

OK looked on amazon, argos and tesco none of them are brands I have any experience of (in the cheap end that is) You don't want a HD version of one since her TV is probably older , not as old as me though:o. Basically have a look in your local TESCO/Argos or anywhere local max £20 , or amazon. Just make sure it is somewhere you feel comfortable buying from (in case of faults in the next Year). I have a £9.99 one I bought from ASDA about 8 years ago and it still works it was a no-name jobby but it still performs ok for the spare bedroom.
