Sometime between now and April 2014. Sorry, but if the DWP are working to a plan it's not the one they published. There's no way of knowing until the envelope comes through the door.0

i dont think they`ll leave me on IB till 2014
the question is how soon between now and may this year will they start the transfer process?

They may well.
Consider the average frequency of IB reassessment.
Now consider that _large_ numbers of people need to be reassessed to go over to ESA.
And that the DWP seems unwilling to invest in resources sanely.
For example, it would make sense in perhaps doubling the number of decision-makers, or some other measure to both speed up decisions, and make those decisions more accurate to avoid wasting the tribunals service time, and incidentally paying people during the delay!
Currently delays for ESA tribunals are probably around a year counting all the delays.
This is around 3400 pounds, on assessment rate, neglecting council tax and housing benefit, and how much it costs to run the tribunal service.
But they're unwilling to spend the perhaps 20 quid on having the decision-makers spend twice as long on the cases.
This has perverse effects due to the legislation where it wasn't imagined that it could ever take so long, and you can re-claim ESA if it's been 6 months since you were denied benefit, meaning that it is possible for people to go on claiming, appealing, getting turned down, and immediately re-claiming.
All this may mean that unless someone actually decides that pouring money at the decision-makers (and indeed ATOS or their replacement), things are going to bump along slowly.0 -

What do you mean your IB claim is expiring?[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.
[/greenhighlight][redtitle]
The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that[/redtitle](house of lords debate, talking about Cameron)0 -
The transfer "project" which admittedly includes IS claimants (because of incapacity) and SDA claimants, started in April 2011 and is scheduled to finish in APril 2014.i dont think they`ll leave me on IB till 2014

Whilst it is more likely that you will be transferred earlier rather than later, it is still perfectly possible that you will be one of the last to be transferred.
I know of claimants who's IB renewal date was January 2011 who have not been transferred yet, and those with dates in 2014 who already have.0 -

my current IB claim ends on 9th may 2011,it was for 5 years, when last looked at,and i was asking really if they are going to transfer me to esa on time what the time frame would be for them to send the esa forms out to me,would this be for example be 4 weeks before or longer in order for them to arrange a medical if they decide to do one?
i understand what others are saying that it might not happen to the expected time frame0 -
My IB review was August 2011 and i've yet to hear anything.0

it might be interesting if those who`s review date has come and gone could tell us when it was due?
also anyone who has been reviewed early?0 -
Your IB claim doesn't end in May, it is simply when you were next expected to be re-assessed. IB and ESA continues to be paid until the claimant no longer meets the associated criteria, so come June you will still be paid, assuming nothing happens in the interim.my current IB claim ends on 9th may 2011,it was for 5 years, when last looked at,and i was asking really if they are going to transfer me to esa on time what the time frame would be for them to send the esa forms out to me,would this be for example be 4 weeks before or longer in order for them to arrange a medical if they decide to do one?

I know of two people who are past their review date - my sister who has been on IB since back in the 90's was last reviewed (without a medical needed) in October 2007 and was given a three year review date (October 2010) but to date has still heard nowt. Also a friend of mine on Income Support was last reviewed and had medical in November 2009 and was given a two year review date (November 2011) and also is still waiting for the brown envelope. Neither are particularly upset at the delays.:)0
