I got a ticket from Inner Guard Security for £100 or £60 if it's paid within 14 days. I hadn't parked on double yellows, or in a residents space or in front of gates or anything. The ticket says I parked without a permit. I had seen no sign about permits. I've checked some of their photos and they'd taken a picture of a sign which said about permits (from right up close to it), but it was set back so far down a cul de sac and obscured by the branches of a tree you wouldn't have been able to make out what it said even if you had noticed it!! the dead end it was at the bottom of was littered with bins a skip and assorted rubbish just strewn everywhere.

The car next to me had no permit and no ticket either, and there were metal poles but they were lying down, again I hadn't noticed them as I'd backed in.

Is it worth appealing? I've taken some photos. Will bump up the amount to pay I it's not successful. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks
